Does it need to be constantly connected to a smart phone? Im curious to inow If there's no plan to use t the stream features is there a need to adjust anything?
Someone I know has hearing loss, but when they use any kind of bud or earphone (even when not switched on) their own voice is amplified, and echos to an uncomfortable level when they speak. Just to confirm, this happens even when the earbuds/earphones are not switched or even plugged into a device. What causes this? Would the through-bone devices maybe help?
This is from a factor called occlusion. Unfortunately pretty much all earbuds and earphones fully occlude the ear canal. Many types of behind the ear hearing aids have little vent holes in the ear piece to allow better air flow and to reduce the occlusion effect. The downside they sound very thin and shrill. I'm fighting the same battle with my hearing loss :(
My husband has this product and to me they are not worth the money. I can hear him better with his Airpod's this product has a lot of intense background noise. I would say do your research before purchasing. The doctor got him when she said he can use them on his app, sales pitch. This is a personal review, the has had them only two months and is not worth 2,500.00
I have AirPods Pro, now with Conversation Boost. It seems to enhance those in front of you and quiet background noise quite well. However, you loose the transparency of course, so the occlusion effect is magnified. That is something to adjust to or even work to have it slightly balanced with the controls in the iPhone.
You know when you put in a Bluetooth headphones…and it sounds different than when you don’t wear them to listen to something…it’s the same thing (you using basically second hand sand sound) for example when my Mom first got her hearing aids she cried and said “I can hear the words you are saying, but I can’t hear your beautiful voice, it sounds like an intercom system at an inside voice” (she’s a retired school teacher)

I think all hearing aids are suitable for senior people or people working in the office relax place but it is not suitable at all for noisy miserable work in the manufacturing and it all useless

How would you compare these against the AirPods Pro? I really like the hearing aspect but I’m not sure how the music aspect compares
