you can't imagine how much i love this - i've been thinking of connections too while reading siken's poems and this video is so bittersweet and beautiful ^^ thanks for sharing it!
His poems are always so evocative on top of being intensely captivating and profound that I literally couldn't resist the urge to try and flesh out some of my feelings regarding this arc through one of them. Thank you a lot for commenting, I can't express how much it means for me♥

I was always intrigued by dark characters in any series or films, not that I would sit down and support their wrong behaviours but to certain characters I couldn't help but think if there was a parallel world for that character and things were different then how would have they reacted or what made the present them. And honestly this edit made me really feel that again and also thanks to you I have now discovered a poet whose poems I would love to read more as I don't really read poetry much because sometimes I can't understand the essence of it, but this one really intrigued me. Also sorry for this long comment 😅

(Even though it might've taken me a while to respond, sorry, I just felt like it deserved sth equally thoughtful, but my brain was a bit of a mess for that). And yeah, I get you, imagining redemption arcs, AUs etc for such characters can often be enjoyable and even therapeutic, not to mention the empathy journey these stories, whether on screen or just in your head, can take you on! You can't imagine how much it means to me that my edit helped you rediscover such feelings!♥ Oh, Siken kinda redefined poetry for me in a way, all the more that even if you fail to fully understand what lies behind the words you're still deeply impacted by the feel they conjure up, so I'm really happy for you!
