Proper Overwatch: Remember to remove auto marker. A lot happens in between. Markers are only when the team reports. Noob =/= grief. Ganked =/= feed. But I've had cases with only 2 "feed" markers. But in between the hero fed very single lane multiple times by afk walking to tower. Please slow down and watch the cases.
Some of us are able to review 20 overwatch cases a day (depends on your conviction rate being successful) we don't all have time to view all between markers. REPORT WHERE THE OFFENSE HAPPENS immediately when it happens or up to 5 minutes later using the appropriate options. Noob does = grief if they are rushing into towers or 40 mins in have 1 item and not listening to team advice (we can still see team pings/strategic discussion)

The timbersaw case is interesting because he was reported twice during laning phase before he was throwing, so if someone was reporting him while he was trying, they probably tilted him(not that this justifies the full throw)
I have a feeling a lot of the reports for griefing come from flaming teammates in chat.. but the replays never let you see the team chat, i feel like we’d get a different perspective on the cases if we got to see what they’re saying to each other to get a wider view of the cases
It’s hard, they don’t want to give us the context so we don’t make subjective judgement but dota is such a complex game so there is going to be so much discord that could be solved with context
you have a different option for reporting comm abuse after the end of the game, even the update clearly stated that those who receive high number of comm abuse reports will be automatically muted at the start of their games and their teammates can choose to unmute them if they want.

I’m pretty sure that, depending on the bracket, crystal maiden was trying to grief the game by buying Midas and stealing farm. I got a similar case and the hard support basically afk jungled for most of the time in a legend game, which looked like intentional griefing to me.
yeah gorgc need to 4x thru whole game. if they are actually joining fights though you cant report but if its like midas afk farm ENTIRE game with 0 lane pressure its starting to get very suspicious and at that point you gotta start putting insufficient evidence instead

Gorgc the players place the markers , when u report you can say how long ago it was e.g just now 1 min or 5 i think , this tells the overwatch how long and when they place the markers so id blame the players for not being able to report correctly lmao
Pos 5 with Rapier, Maelstrom, Midas, and Aghanim? I played poorer Pos 5. Paper Undying with Ghost Scepter is the real Pos 5 there. This is just a Tryhard Pos 4 (3 carries game going to be hard) gone wrong

I wish this was a thing before, and match history page was hidden from public too before it became friends only. I got banned for boosting, because I lost a lot, By a lot I mean 45+ games out of 50. I haven't played dota 2 for 2 years that time then came back. Then I won 30games straight then lost 2 then won 34 more games and losing only 1 or 2 games in between that 34 wins then I got banned. Meta that time was Ebola heroes and PL and omniknight+slark. And I spammed most of them especially Chen, Veno and NP. I got my account back after some months but I made another account already and stomped my way back to 5.4k MMR. I wasn't as good as now though so it got harder from there. Funny thing is no one reported me, even though in my profile they can see I have 90%+ winrate on Phoenix, NP and Dazzle before my overall winrate normalized to sub 60%.
