Every single time I see Jordan doing -whatever- it is on the keyboard I feel both overwhelmed and inspired. Simply amazing, no exception! Thanks Jordan :)
The older I get the more entertaining younger people become with their life experience or lack of it ! There's a cycle to life , it's all about perspective based on what you know at any particular time in that cycle . Live life to it's fullest !
I actually was replying to another comment that someone who said something to the effect that Jordan plays well for an old man. But that comment is no longer here
In the midrange category Yamaha's moXF owns the Krome, but I must say between a Motif and the Kronos I'd pick the Kronos every single time. Now, time to save some money lol
I love how Jordan is an old man, but he is embracing the newer technologies as they emerge. So many people his age tend to stay in the decade of their heyday.
the easy, less complicated and less sofisticated path. There is a reason why the greatest, being Jordan just one example, use profesional workstation instead of a midi controler with a soft. They use them as a complement, that's a reallity, but using it as a main equipment reflects the quallity of the user. Sometimes the money is an unfear deal, i lived it myself by being forced to use midi controller and soft untill i could afford a good synth. Sorry if i sounded a little idioticback there, its just my opinion, as you sure have yours
Juan Mora It's true that it's a matter of opinion. For example, i happen to think a window based GUI like on a PC or ,heaven forbid, a Mac is much easier to use than anything a synth could have. But then again, i haven't used synths much. Also, i happen to think that someone using a computer for sound generation doesn't give a "cheap" vibe. All i can say for sure, as i always have when it comes to music, if it works it works. If a beaten up old guitar gives you the sound you want, it's better than a $2000 Strat. The music is important.
***** While i'm willing to sort of grant you the argument that he's used to the workflow (even though the workflow on a PC isn't that alien to him), i don't think the live songs argument is valid at all. PCs are rather reliable these days.
I always look at my piano and just laugh after seeing a Jordan Rudess video.
I always look at myself and just laugh because I have no piano.
I realize I'm kinda off topic but does anybody know a good place to stream new movies online ?
@Maxwell Gage I watch on Flixzone. Just google for it =)
Best. Keyboardist. Ever
One of the most exciting to listen to live...........
Every single time I see Jordan doing -whatever- it is on the keyboard I feel both overwhelmed and inspired. Simply amazing, no exception! Thanks Jordan :)
Man, he really puts every nook and crany of the kronos to use.
He only aged a little bit after he chopped off his Kenny G hair, but that was the final step to becoming Merlin. Now he's immortal.
You're a music genius Sir Jordan! Salute!
This guy is a fucking legend. He's the best we've got
By far, the most techicnally proficent keyboard player in the world.
Kronos is in the same position in the world of keyboards as Jordan is in the world of keyboardists.
dzalvsek yesss man so right
Well, i hope i'm still playing in bands when i'm 55. Keep it up Jordan!
Genius
So that's where the samples come from...
Jordan's not an old man, he's immortal
even what kinda metal or punk or rock your band are, when the piano players do their thing, they becoming so cool and so classic
You could write an encyclopedia on all the different sounds Jordan utilizes not only with DT, but with Liquid Tension Experiment and his solo work.
Favorit Jordan rudess
i cried hard on this
Rejected Whatsapp message from John Myung at 1:14 :D
Seems like a cool guy and certainly knows his way around a keyboard as one of the best in the world.
That's not just a keyboard, it's a whole music studio
i love strings and voice sound that he use
usefull info of performance on one keyboard korg kronos is great, thanks for sharing this
he would be the best piano teacher ever..
Those M-Audio Bx5 are suffering ! hahah great job Jordan !
Holy shit...so many sounds out of that keyboard..
Fantástico!!!
The piano from the kronos is samples from a hard drive inside it, 8 velocity layers. Same as libraries on computers.
The older I get the more entertaining younger people become with their life experience
or lack of it ! There's a cycle to life , it's all about perspective based on what you

55 is old Geez!
I love how Jordan is an old man, but he is embracing the newer technologies as they emerge. So many people his age tend to stay in the decade of their heyday.
Assuming he is immortal, he would have existed for many years; thus, he is an old man.
BOOM
KRONOS !
I forgot to put in a question mark arter the old part. I do not think 55 is old. I am 47

How old are you? 12?
Why pay so much money on a synthesizer when you can use a MIDI controller and some software?
Cristi Neagu maybe some people dont want to be mediocre. Peace
Juan Mora What do you understand by "mediocre"?
