I was talking to the screen saying “you forgot the sugar!” Lol! These are granny green beans and they are delicious! The trick is to be sure and put that sugar in there and cook ALL the liquid out. The bean will make a popping/crackling sound when they are glazed probably. Oh so so delicious! Y’all have a blessed weekend. ❤️🙏
My Mom used fresh green beans or another kind that I can’t remember the name of. She added sliced uncooked bacon and onions. I don’t know about other seasonings. Probably not more salt. They were so good.

Funny thing: I've never in my life, even once, had leftover bacon.

I do something similar with fine sliced onions in the beans. Yum!
I saw this on collard valley cooks, she only added olive oil and sugar, I’ve been making them ever since. So good but it takes awhile

I don't drain my green beans, add sugar, butter, and onion powder 😋
How much butter per can? So you added extra salt along with the sugar? Looks good!!
Is bacon 🥓 necessary to make these taste yummy? I wanna make them vegetarian 🌱 friendly.
Maybe a little liquid smoke? With onions.
@@TheLadymiss22ooo good idea! Thanks!
I think I would have to drain them.
