    hyundai is making good cars
but its lacking that premium feel
    too plasticy for that price
    cx-3 feels much more premium
    and Toyota has the looks

Nice review. Was this shot in Gordans bay last Sat I think it was? When the road was closed? That explains the limited driving shots. I was driving behind this car and checking it out.

If you think this is a good car checkout the 2017 Peugeot 2008 diesel. Much better interior and fuel economy for R70k less. Clearly a really underrated car in this segment. Please review that car @cars.co.za

No cliamte control even. Those ventilation controls look like an i10. And what about cruise control? And auto lights? Hyundai can't yet justify its pricing.

With those cheap budget looks and drab interior how can it compete with the excellent Mazda CX3 or Peugeot 2008 which are far better vehicles.

Some people here so disrespectful, they sound as though they are some competing salesman for another company. How ridiculous some peoplel can get, even to name calling. Calling the man a hobbit in a derogatory manner!

Any SUV with folded down rears seats that do not fold down completely flat is a total waste of time and should not even be mentioned because every sedan/SUV/Cross-over/Hatch/etc., since the 1980's has 60/40 rear seat splits. It means nothing if you mention it! An SUV's rear seats must fold down completely flat.. Even BMW's X3 gets this wrong! Did I hear correctly.. fuel consumption at 7.5L/100Km?? What!! For a 1.6 diesel?? That is seriously uneconomical. A total deal-breaker. You didn't mention the KW/Nm specs. Why not? Are you selling groceries or a car?! Also, if you're going to sit in the back and discuss leg room, tell us how tall you are. Otherwise the amount of space in front of your knees or above your head means nothing. Of course there will be a lot of space for a hobbit like yourself, but for a man of average size it is very different. Is the car AWD/FWD/RWD/4X4? Important info for the SUV market. Guy, this review wasted my time!
