- I moved house near oppama station and one free day I walked around the station to see what life was like here, I felt it was very peaceful, people were very friendly, there were mostly old people here. ,
I went up and down the stairs nearby and into the forest to explore..
Keikyū introduced station numbering for its stations on October 21, 2010; Oppama Station was assigned station number KK54.
The station opened on April 1, 1930, as a station on the Shōnan Electric Railway, which merged with the Keihin Electric Railway on November 1, 1941
The area in front of the station is being redeveloped, with plans to build a new commercial and residential area, including a public library, to improve the quality of life and attract more people to live there. The project is scheduled for completion in 2028.
