Osula looks like he is already a big character in the squad, last few games I've noticed him interacting with the first team players & they seem to have a genuine respect for him, you could see it with Gordon at the end there. He was on the pitch & the first one celebrating with Isak when he scored against Chelsea the other day too. I hope he can find form here, I like what I see on & off the pitch.
All the names of the fallen on that banner was a real touch of class, our tribute for remembrance day always makes me so proud to be a Toon fan. God bless all of those who fought and gave their lives for their countries to give us our freedoms, sent to war by men who never had to suffer the pain of it.
There was no issue whatsoever with that goal and no one can tell me otherwise , even post match reviews agreed with the decision , meaning 3 layers of approval (Officials, VAR, Referee Panel). The only disapproval came from Arsenal. Shock horror. The fact that Arteta said that Arsenal were robbed of 3 points in a game which they scored 0 goals in is extremely telling of the big 6 perception of the other 14 clubs (if the super league wasn’t already a giveaway)
Really enjoy the tunnel footage. And the fact that the coaches and the subs are so pumped about the win. It really shows what a team effort it is, not just the players on the field.
Isn’t it funny how Hall has not only stepped up and made himself unstoppable at LB; but so far this season he has got in front of Tino now on his level of playing, and consistently. What’s happen with Tripps? When Tino had to come in on so many different positions, but actual team roles; and he hasn’t kicked on from that… can’t wait to see the whole lot of them in sync; it’s going to be frightening.
