Fun fact, Roa was originally staged to be a "Joke character" for the Original Melty Blood game

@@hikarihakai1285 Well, they already turned Roa into a joke character in both Kagetsu Tohya and Carnival Phantasm lol. Hell, even in MBAA Roa is also treated as a joke by the other characters as well.

Damn Volv looks really interesting, his design is pretty sick and his heavy zoner like battle style looks liked he’d be a character I’d definitely main. Glad he’s in the game, but I can’t wait to see the King’s gameplay next week.

Looks very interesting, sort of like a heavy character (well, as far as Melty goes) but with zoner elements. That damage is mad high. Hope to see more new characters!
We have one more character iirc, not counting hypothetical DLC, and it looks like the leaks say it’ll be the Once and Future King.

As soon as I heard him speak I was like, "Jigen is that you?" Tsuda Kenjiro was a good choice for Vlov, he takes to the villain role so well.

Type Lumina is gonna be my first melty and I skipped over his trailer for so long thinking he was a meme until I finally decided to watch it since someone said he was meltys grappler type character and goddamn is the dude a unit. Between him, arc, akiha, roa, and now vlov I’ve got 0 idea as to who to main now lol

I'm happy that big-boys in fighting games are finally escaping their typecast as grapplers and we're starting to see shit like big boy zoners too.
O now here's a zoning grappler with mixups and this game has everything!
I mean, he does have a grab, but I'd hesitate to call him a "grappler". From what it looked like he can only do the grab after that long series of slashes. Who knows though, I guess we'll find out in 2 weeks! I'm hype

I wasn't sure since Roa didn't have a good height to height comparison but this is nice. Looks like they're really leaning more into the whole shared body thing, he looks younger this way.
The fight against him in the VN made me think he'd be a perfect Zoner, glad that transfered over neatly

Oh hey, a new Apostle Ancestor! Nice to get some new lore on them after so long. I wish that they would elaborate more on the other ones as well though.
He's not an ancestor, hes a knight working for one who ended up killing him and taking his power.
@@Dreikoo Well, yeah. And in the process of killing the previous Apostle Ancestor and inheriting her powers, he also inherited her title as well. Granted, he’s not exactly a “true” Apostle Ancestor in the full sense of the word, but he still is one nonetheless.
These last few character reveals have definitely increased my hype for this game. Spear teacher, vamp, and vamp with sword...all potential mains.

within 5 seconds, I can hear Kenjiro Tsuda. He does a very good job as Vlov, reminds me a bit of another character that he played that also happened to come out this year (that being Merazophis from Kumo desu ga or So I'm a Spider, So what?)

Yes he's from the remake. He replaces Nero's role in the story because Nero is dead in the remake.

Pretty sure my mans is supposed to be the replacement (sadly) for Nero. Fits the character, will definitely be playing him as a C-Nero player myself.
