What I love about them is that most of the time he stands behind her showing his support and acting like a pillar for her, showing her that he got her back and will always be there. I find this simple gesture so meaningful and powerful.

i rly love the chemistry between the two. Daemon should've hated rhaenyra because she's a threat to his ambition of wanting the throne but here he is supporting her instead. I love how Rhaenyra Targaryen has a control over the rouge and ruthless prince Daemon Targaryen.
Just imagine, both Viserys' heirs - an only daughter and a younger brother - develop such a strong bond, get married in the middle of a war for the throne and have two sons that eventually will be kings and continue the Targaryen dynasty. Rhaenyra and Daemon are the most interesting characters in the series so far and I can't wait to see more of them in future episodes!!
Yeah but during the war Daemon was rethinking his marriage with Rhaenyra because she made so many mistakes and acted stupidly which cost her her own children… during the same time Daemon met Nettles and fell in love with her and he faked his death to elope with Nettles

I don’t know how they are going to write their love story. Cause in the books it is very unclear. However, it was clear as water that there was always there and that the only reason they were apart was because Daemon would get exile twice lasting 7 years the first and the second lasting about the same. However, when they were in the same place it was written they spend every walking minutes together. Daemon is very adventurous. He was with Mysaria and he was with Leana and he was with Rhaenrya since she was small girl. He loves take them flying across the narrow sea, Sail, read them poems and shower them with gifts.
Very powerful scenes together.
The necklace represent the power dynamic they will have when they are married and the necklace looks like a chain and he wrapped it around her neck in a symbolic way of binding her to him. Later on Daemon will have huge infuence in Rhaenrya also Rhaenrya wore the necklace Throughout episode 2 which represent 6 months so for 6 months she wore the gift Daemon gifted her. Ways to keep him close to her heart while he was on exile. Also what he said about both having a piece of their ancestry as he has dark sister the sword of the first queen and he will be prince consort like Visenya once was for Aegon and also because they are the ones that will be the ancestors to Danaerys and Jon which are the last living Targaryen in the ASOIAF.
Then in the funeral of her mother he stood by her side and show her his sensitive side by supporting her and assuring her of her importance. He will stand with her until the end of his days (there is a rumour contradicting that but we don’t which one HBO will go for it)
Then at the bridge he was all ready to make OTTO BBQ and the Rhaenrya showed up with her Deagon which Carexes recognized right away. And the look they share, and the way Daemon immediately low his temper and then gave her the egg. Telling her that some day he will have children …. Her children.
She is the only person who can handle him
I'm absolutely in love with this pair. Don't know why. I think they have amazing chemistry. I think they're very interesting characters. I really don't care that their uncle and niece I mean come on game of thrones kind of numbed you to that type of relationship. I really love the clips of them as her as an adult. I really love that clip where they're standing right very close to each other over her stomach. Kind of I think she's pregnant with there child in that scene.
I’m glad the actress play rhaenyra is an adult. Most people were complaining about how the actor should’ve been an actual child but it would’ve been extremely uncomfortable/inappropriate for both of them to act this way with a younger actress.
The actress is 22. Daemon and Rhaenyra had a similar age gap in the books.
This is right... Bcoz if seen... Men age slower than women... So daemon matches the 30s but the actress was needed a bit older. She looks too young to play 30
younger actress height is 157, but older actress is 170 cm - it will look very weird, when tiny beautiful girl will grow up to 13 cm in few moments 😑

He knows her and her frustrations of not being born male or not living up to the expectations of her father. AND he couldve used that against her but he didnt. But, looking at this comments makes me sick to the stomach!
