I don't like the way pages repeat in a journal, either - your idea is brilliant, especially with the writing space included! Perhaps you could cut your giant masterboards down to the smaller size of the book pages and then recombine them before photocopying for journal pages. "paste, paste, paste, trim, trim, trim, life is great" - surely a good new mantra!

Brilliant. I'm thinking 'duh, it's a no-brainer.' But then, you're the first one I've seen doing this and here it is months later. I just love this idea so much. I love the idea of using scraps of great paper (great defined by the individual) which is recycling, saving beautiful stuff I loved and being able to see it hanging out in multiple places. It's all good. It's so darned fun watching you.
And I soooo agree with you about having such a small amount of writing space in a journal. I'm thinking this to myself all the time. "You expect me to journal on that teensy piece of paper?? You gotta be kidding me." Like I could write one tiny word.

What a wonderful idea! I tried to make a 12x12 master board… ugh!!! I didn’t get very far, so I watched a bunch of “how to” videos 😵💫 and then, I just pushed everything aside. Now, I feel like a book page is something I can handle… I have lots of book 📖 pages, so I’m going to give your method my best effort! Yay! Thanks so much for sharing your ideas with us❣️

I spent all day working on my mini master boards. I put them in the scanner and then printed them off. I am tickled pink at how they turned out. I need two more days to finish the other two signatures. What great idea!!

I love this. More manageable, the 12 x 12 idea was too overwhelming and I would get creatively blocked trying to keep a theme ongoing. This is short and sweet. Thank you for sharing your ideas.

I’ve made plenty of the great big master board collage strips whatever you want to call them made out of five or six book pages and then I cut them up into tags and pockets and belly bands and things like that but I never thought of doing it this way, making two pages and putting them together and then copying them I’ve never actually even copied my master board, I just use the originals but this is a really good idea I’m going to try this. Such a good idea about putting the text sideways so that the page can be used upside down, right right side up, there is no upside down, really good idea. Thank you.
