Amazing how we went from despising Tyrell in Season 1 to absolutely loving him more than the majority of characters in the show. We really connected and empathised with him.
It's really simple. People are people (or fictional characters, I guess). Just because you hate someone doesn't mean they're incapable of suffering. It just means you are incapable of seeing them suffering because your hatred blinds you. Whether Hitler or Jesus put their hand on a turned-on stove, the pain is the same.
Season 3 had such a different feel compared to all other seasons in the show, and that's why it's the best in my opinion. This episode especially is one of the best.
I think about this scene a lot because I feel so bad for Tyrell. This is such a brutal scene, especially when Santiago breaks him down completely to make sure the secrets stay safe. Tyrell is left completely hopeless - not even able to attempt revenge at this point in the story. I feel bad but then again... and as unfortunate as it is for his innocent son, both Tyrell and his wife got exactly what they deserved. Tyrell murdered Scott Knowles' pregnant wife in cold blood during HIS CTO CELEBRATION PARTY to steal his position. Like bruh. We saw how badly that destroyed Knowles. What did Knowles, aside from being an oligarch billionaire douche, really do to deserve that? The only difference between Tyrell and Knowles really is that show runners show Tyrell's story while we get a couple of scenes with Knowles. The similarities between Knowles' and Tyrell's story are such that I have to believe that they are not coincidences - they were written into the show on purpose. Both their wives get murdered by an affair partner. Both wives had children (although at least Tyrell's is at a foster home). Both find out they are widowers on supposedly one of the best days of their lives (Knowles' during his CTO celebration after finding out his wife is pregnant, Tyrell after successfully launching the cyber-bombing attack and being promised a vacation with his wife). It's crazy that just by following around this psychopath Tyrell that you still feel absolutely broken seeing him in such a hopeless situation. The sad part is that I don't even feel like he even gets an opportunity to redeem himself. All he does after this is jeopardize the money-heist hack and almost gets Elliot killed. What a brutal show lol
Felt so bad for tyrell is this episode. Season 2 was a little more filler but I feel season 3 was when the story and characters really started to progress season 3 was the most memorable
I don't know about that. He was basically in the same position that Dom was in in Season 4, we just never saw the sympathetic side of it. Anyone would follow orders if your family could die on a dime.
@@howdy000 no he did, i do see what you are saying though. Tyrell had an entire family, wife was shot in the head by her estranged ex boyfriend. His kid was sebt to fostrr care. Also the police interrogation was too damn real to not be Tyrell.
One of the most chilling, harrowing and well acted scenes of the show; it left me so angry, literally feeling like Tyrell. Such a brilliant scene.
Tyrell was such a psycho in season 1 though. Amazing how much he changed.
You know when you're high and you appreciate all the little things? What an amzing show, everyone brought their absolute a-game

he killed a pregnant woman for a promotion
i didnt
Why are you talking like gollum cause I definitely didn’t absolutely love him😭
I loved him from day one.

I just realised that Tyrell screaming behind the door is inaudible just like Joanna's inaudible screaming after that crazy lady threw paint on her.
nice catch!
I hate listening to screams and I'm so glad this show mutes them lol, stylish choice or not

It's my favorite season because I feel every storyline/character was firing on all cylinders!
Yeah season 4 seems to be the popular consensus for the best season but 3 is just a non stop adrenaline rush
s3 was the best. then 1 imo but exactly the feeling of this entire one omg
S03 felt like a David Fincher thriller in a way, except much better than any Fincher movie (yes, they're that good).
It was a non-stop thrill ride with the highest stakes.
3:42 "This is time sensitive ..." the same thing he heard from the detectives after the murder in Season 1
Brutal but Santiago got what he deserved

One of the best shows on television hands down!
"Last I checked, it was only a 1 in 5 abuse rate... Decent odds" 😂
Cold blooded
Santiago can relate with Wellick at the end, he's a family man too.
This is how good this show is. All characters, primary and secondary, feel real and relatable.
Mac Quayle’s music after Tyrell gets the news. Oh how brilliant this show was!!
Felt so bad for tyrell is this episode. Season 2 was a little more filler but I feel season 3 was when the story and characters really started to progress season 3 was the most memorable
Season 2 wasn't filler unless you count slow-burn and methodical character progression, depth and psychological-sociopolitical commentary as filler.
After what he did to Sharon Knowles this is just karma doing it's job lmao
Such a chilling scene, this show is fantastic.
My God, I love this photography
filmography
cinematography
God I love this show.
8:13 Is that Pete Holmes chuckling at a joke?
As if the FBI records interrogations
I dont' remember Tyrell ever seeing his child again after he was released. Did they just forget to tie up that loose end?
A statistic, lost to the system.
A likely possibility though. There's so much going on that it might have been cut for the larger story to fit.
that makes sense, thanks for the reply@@mathmaniac3033
This is when Trenton and mobley die because they working the same side...broken fans
looks like Tyrell, doenst no his weakness
this was posted on my birthday... huh.
I love her so much
72 buildings was a parlor trick? Someone is really full of themselves.

he's just a character, not a person do you realize ?

Download from PirateBay.

Plot twist; Tyrell, Elliot and Mr Robot are one and the same person
That doesn't make Sense. While Elliot was in jail, Tyrell was working in the safehouse

Elliot and Mr. Robot yes. Also MM. Tyrell is real, he shot Elliot in the gut.
