Oh that's a great story, part of Laphroaig's distinctive character is a poop out of fat mouse.
£1000 though... My whole collection's worth around that and here it's just one bottle :D
Expensive, but nothing compared to what an Ardbeg or Lagavulin of this age would cost retail.

What's the clear liquid in the centre of the table? And what's it's purpose of a drop or two being added to the whiskey in the glass?
I presume it's water.. but I could be wrong
It's water. Many people add water to help tone down the strong alcoholic burn, which for some people helps bring out the flavors better. People sit and debate whether or not adding water takes away or adds to the experience of the flavor but it's really just personal preference.

They are custom hand made glasses for whisky.de, afaik you can only order those from whisky.de directly :)

Very expensive mouthwash.... No seriously you ain't got to add those nasty sounds into the video it's fucking disgusting and when I drink Laphroaig I remember the noise
