Admittedly, you don’t get as close to the stage once you start moving, but the view is still far better than sticking in one spot. That’s what I did last year. For this show I didn’t have that luxury because I was in a seat. Thanks for the vid.
@JBeck33 Honestly, this was my 1st ever stadium show and I'm not in a hurry to go back to one. I'm used to being at shows with 100-1000 people. This was 10x the cost and 100 times less intimate? Oh well
Thank you. This proves Metallica's video wasn't just overdubbed rubbish that all the Megadeth fangirls are saying. Metallica is just playing the tightest they have in decades.
I was actually kinda surprised that Fade to Black didn't make it, but with Metallica they literally have too many absolute all time classic bangers that inevitably someone's favorite song will have to be left off. Overall I'd say between the 2 nights the set list was a 9/10 and the performance was 10/10. If they switched the handful of new songs with say F2B, Battery, The Thing That Should Not Be, Damage Inc., The God That Failed or Bleeding Me it would have been 10/10 set list, but of course the whole tour is to promote the newest album so its understandable.
Also I was wondering if they did an audible and played Ride The Lightning instead of Fade To Black In honor of the 50,000 of us who waited outside the gates during a pouring lightning storm for 2 hours on night 2
