It started from a light so it was heavily scaled. Light combo potential was nerfed with the akuma patch by like 20% i think. Then he didnt have any drive bar to do OD Borscht Dynamite and light spd off of lvl 2 does minimal damage already. All of this stacked to make the move do almost no damage. He probably thought this would kill but if he didnt he probably would have gone for dash forward, hellstab, lariat and then used his oki to close the round.
