Man the scene right after where she runs out screaming his name as Midori walks past was simply unbearable. I never felt so bad for an anime character as i felt for Midori. She had to either suffer for her friend or suffer for turning away from her love. And even if i understand why se decided for the latter i could not help literally risking dehidration when she turns down Riuji the scene after lowering her hat not to be seen crying... man the feels were just too much that episode.
I remember a breakup I had during High School. The day before she left me. It was raining hard outside, and my girlfriend couldn't get home. She spent the night at my house, and when I woke up the next morning: she was gone. I found a text, and an apology. When I saw this show, with that memory still engraved in my mind. I couldn't stop crying. When Taiga and Ryuuji kissed, it brought me back to that night all over again. Then watching Taiga run out the door crying as the one she loved went to another.. This song still hits me hard, I guess you never really get over it. I don't know why I shared that, just thought that the beauty of this song kinda comes from how we can associate to the emotions it conveys.

Toradora was one of my earliest, and one of the fastest speed I watched, and one of the *best* anime I had ever watched. :) I'm always sad that there isn't another season, but then the anime ended quite okay that it doesn't need a new season.. :) Though I would like more OVAs to see what happens next. The anime actually covered the whole light novel series so even if we asked for a second season, they have nothing to cover to make another season for us huhu :( the anime was already perfect and will forever be etched into our hearts as one of the best romcom-drama anime series out there!
I rewatch Toradora from time to time . . . and this music still hits me in the feels , not just because of the scenes in the show , but also you could feel sadness , longing for something in this music
ZaedricYT I can agree there. While Clannad was amazing, it's also a bit of a long ride. Toradora is better paced and therefore as a whole the show is more enjoyable. While Clannad has a much more heart wrenching story which really picks up in After Story, at times the first season seems to drag on. But Nathan is right, Clannad has much more feels and despite that minor flaw in the first season it was fun and had it's major heart break moments. After Story would not have been nearly as devastating had it not been for the casual nature of season 1.

***** I feel bad for Minori, Ami truth is that I do not care, I did not like his behavior in the anime, he behaved like a real bitch, it is true that she was not always so bad, but everything bad that she did is could make me happy even if she had seen in the anime so defeated and sad as Minori.. The one that makes me sad is Minori! She said that she doesn´t need Ryujii to make her happy, she would find her happiness pursuing their dreams, for that she was saving so much money. But then he goes and gives Ryuuji and Taiga all their fucking savings ! She gives them all the money that she was going to use to pursue her dreams! And then not again mention all Minori savings throughout the anime, as if it was not important. Come on, Minori if it is shattered when Taiga escaped with Ryuuji! Apart from that she had to watch as the person she loves go with another girl, and that other girl was his best friend, she lost all the money he had been saving all his life than hard to lose it in a few minutes.
All I remember is Taiga is chasing Ryuuji on christmas..... which made me cry back then.. you sure know how to touch people's hearts using both of your skills and chosen music ;-;

6 years later, it's been what 10 years since i've first watched this show... It's sure a bit lonely to think how time just flew by like a damn bullet. I first watched this with some friends, they went away, we grew distant. Then i made new friends that also since went away... I feel i lost something in me since i first watched this anime. I'm just not as close to my feelings as I once were. I don't get as sad when i'm sad, or as happy when i'm happy. It's weird. Listening to this song i feel incredibly cold and well, old. Aging is scary.
I love the description of this vid. I think that the piano is supposed be played from the heart and this playing fully shows this. The amount of emotion coming out of oh his playing is more skilful then playing the piece exactly as it was in the sheet music.

I listened to this song on repeat about 3 years ago when my girlfriend left me for another guy (after a 4 year relationship). After 2 weeks they slept together, and after a month they broke up. I was crushed as we were each others firsts for everything, including what you're thinking. And it felt like she took everything that we had, and discarded it like nothing, and took everything we created as milestones, and recreated it with someone else. We ended up getting back together after a few months and I worked through my feelings of insecurity, and she worked through her many feelings of resentment that built up over the years and created this whole mess. With lots of communication we have lasted 7 years, and even though it's not the most popular story to tell in hollywood. We really love each other and have learned how to overcome obstacles before our problems build up and create distance. But I will always feel as though we have lost some pieces of our relationship. And this song still stirs my heart with crumbling despair, but I love it.
I'm happy the show ended compared to the others who want another season. I feel like we had our closure in the end of the credits. I hate it when shows never end.
Akatsuki no Yona didn't had an unclosed ending, it had an end of a season. The only problem is that it had really average sales. There are some rumors that is in production, but I don't know, the sales make the chances quite slim.
Yeah especially those anime that gives cliffhangers and they say the anime is just an advertisement for a manga or not enough resources to make another season.
Toradora will always have a special kind of place in my heart, why? it is because it is the first anime series that I have finished and it is also the reason why I got introduced into anime. Now I am watching hundreds of anime and even if I am always debating in my head which is the best anime and putting them into ranks, Toradora will always be the most special of them all, because it is the one who started it all ❤️. The first couple episodes felt rushed to me, but even so it kept my attention. It got better as the episodes went by and the story got deeper. Definitely worth the watch

I never really liked toradora but when this scene happened i was just amazed especially by the beautiful music. Toradora will never be as high as clannad or angel beats for me but it's still a great anime.
If we're technically speaking here, Angel Beats had plot holes to bring about the tears (that ending T_T). Even I noticed, so technically speaking man, Toradora is the better show compared to Angel Beats. (Though both shows truly truly made me look like a sobbing idiot). But of course, that's only technically speaking. Personally speaking, I connected with the characters of Toradora more but it's not as to say that I didn't with the Angel Beats cast. Obviously, your pick is Angel Beats but that is absolutely fine. But in terms of technicality again, Clannad After Story truly outshines both shows!
Yeah after episode 10 of angel beats it was really bad with a ton of plotholes. But the moments through episode 1-10 were so funny and emotional. Toradora had a much better ending imo than any of the 3 animes.
Page King Maeda Jun had said that he wanted Angel Beats to have more episodes, but the budget ended up not being high enough. Luckily, though, they are currently working on an Angel Beats Visual Novel that will go more into depth on all the stories, and have no plot holes.
+Duke Fernad She had to mend her relationship with her mother. She got that inspiration from Ryuuji after Ryuuji had made up with his mother after that stunt they pulled. The only reason why she was the way she were way back in Ep.1 is from this single problem she had that caused her to leave near the end. But if you watched through the credits for the last episode, you'll see that Taiga came back to find Ryuuji. If you wish I can tell you how it ended as well in the LN and VN, since both those endings are different. And I consider LN ending to be canon when compared to the Anime.

So she left for a shorter period of time when compared to the Anime. In the VN, however(probably not canon), she got married with Ryuuji, and is pregnant with triplets.

the feels man toradora! was the first to get me into anime it self. and every rewatch is such a joyful feeling
I listened to this song on repeat about 3 years ago when my girlfriend left me for another guy (after a 4 year relationship). After 2 weeks they slept together, and after a month they broke up. I was crushed as we were each others firsts for everything, including what you're thinking. And it felt like she took everything that we had, and discarded it like nothing, and took everything we created as milestones, and recreated it with someone else.
We ended up getting back together after a few months and I worked through my feelings of insecurity, and she worked through her many feelings of resentment that built up over the years and created this whole mess.
With lots of communication we have lasted 7 years, and even though it's not the most popular story to tell in hollywood. We really love each other and have learned how to overcome obstacles before our problems build up and create distance.
But I will always feel as though we have lost some pieces of our relationship. And this song still stirs my heart with crumbling despair, but I love it.

I'm happy the show ended compared to the others who want another season. I feel like we had our closure in the end of the credits. I hate it when shows never end.

Akatsuki no Yona didn't had an unclosed ending, it had an end of a season. The only problem is that it had really average sales. There are some rumors that is in production, but I don't know, the sales make the chances quite slim.
Yeah especially those anime that gives cliffhangers and they say the anime is just an advertisement for a manga or not enough resources to make another season.

Toradora will always have a special kind of place in my heart, why? it is because it is the first anime series that I have finished and it is also the reason why I got introduced into anime. Now I am watching hundreds of anime and even if I am always debating in my head which is the best anime and putting them into ranks, Toradora will always be the most special of them all, because it is the one who started it all ❤️. That is why I always listen to this OST whenever I feel sad and lonely because it comforts me and takes away my anxiety and it makes me happy. Thank you Toradora ❤️.

This brings back so many good memories. I recently re-watched the series, and decided to stick around after the final credits. After I did, I saw the final ending, and my life was complete.

Toradora is just a fantastic series that delivers lots of emotion, comedy, and so much more. It's a solid series overall for such little episode is has.
I also definitely agree with your opinion and decision you've made. I feel like youtubers or content distributors in general should produce content they enjoy producing. Everything you make doesn't have to please everyone else and does not need to be viral/popular. I say if you do not enjoy what your doing thats essentially out of your own free time, why do it at all? Keep doin your thing man! I look forward to great covers like this

I never really liked toradora but when this scene happened i was just amazed especially by the beautiful music. Toradora will never be as high as clannad or angel beats for me but it's still a great anime.
If we're technically speaking here, Angel Beats had plot holes to bring about the tears (that ending T_T). Even I noticed, so technically speaking man, Toradora is the better show compared to Angel Beats. (Though both shows truly truly made me look like a sobbing idiot). But of course, that's only technically speaking. Personally speaking, I connected with the characters of Toradora more but it's not as to say that I didn't with the Angel Beats cast. Obviously, your pick is Angel Beats but that is absolutely fine. But in terms of technicality again, Clannad After Story truly outshines both shows!
Yeah after episode 10 of angel beats it was really bad with a ton of plotholes. But the moments through episode 1-10 were so funny and emotional. Toradora had a much better ending imo than any of the 3 animes.
Page King Maeda Jun had said that he wanted Angel Beats to have more episodes, but the budget ended up not being high enough. Luckily, though, they are currently working on an Angel Beats Visual Novel that will go more into depth on all the stories, and have no plot holes.

Why did Taiga have to leave....
+Duke Fernad She had to mend her relationship with her mother. She got that inspiration from Ryuuji after Ryuuji had made up with his mother after that stunt they pulled.
The only reason why she was the way she were way back in Ep.1 is from this single problem she had that caused her to leave near the end. But if you watched through the credits for the last episode, you'll see that Taiga came back to find Ryuuji.
If you wish I can tell you how it ended as well in the LN and VN, since both those endings are different. And I consider LN ending to be canon when compared to the Anime.

In the VN, however(probably not canon), she got married with Ryuuji, and is pregnant with triplets.

Just started watching the Toradora dub on Crunchyroll, and I'm in love with the English voice actors. I'm one to fall in love with both sub and dub, and Toradora is one of my personal favorites, with an amazing soundtrack. Awesome video btw, you're amazing

I remember the dub of the anime coming out of nowhere in 2014 lol I watched the anime 2 years before the dub and I went through the emotional rollercoaster that is Toradora. I came back not too long ago to watch the dub and relived those same feelings years ago. It led me back here to listen to the beautiful ost once again.
