OK sure, it was natural to support the underdog team that represents your country and it was exciting to see them beat the odds and do really well, but what's all this talk about patriotism and (hypothetically) sacrificing a well-earned personal achievement in exchange for the achievement of a football team? It's not like their achievement is an achievement of the whole nation, or like any single aspect of daily life in England would have improved if they'd won. The football team that represents your country in a tournament isn't related to you personally or to your identity in any possible way. Nothing of national importance is at stake at a football match (unlike, say, at a referendum)

I hate that I can't just watch the free episodes in the browser on my phone or tablet. What's up with that?? Other sites stream video directly in the browser on mobile devices without the need of an app--Twitch, for example. So it's not that it isn't possible. It's just you being annoying. FYI, I am never going to pay a monthly subscription in addition to my cable costs to watch network TV, whether on a mobile device or to see pay-only content like your Star Trek series.
