Also, in theory 800,000 years is more than enough to even terraform Venus, so they should have been able to fix earth but again, it does seem in this world they are much lower tech than I would expect humans of 800,000 years to be.
I'm surprised they did genetic engineering of that scale and species upliftment before regular spin gravity habitats. spin gravity isn't that difficult, we could do it now.

This is actually the first time I've heard about Barsoom lol. I got the idea of red Martians from a Joe Scott video I watched a while ago and the idea of photosynthetic green people from Wrought Flesh. That's a really funny coincidence!

Disney made a movie out of it called John Carter a few years ago, but it wasn't great. Definitely recommend the books if you enjoy retro pulp sci-fi adventure stuff
I will say this. The depiction of the colonisation of the planets in the solar system depicted in All Tomorows is the most interesting one iv seen in my opinion. At least for me it makes more sense then many other depictions.

I like stuff like this even though it's not Canon. Although I do have one thing to say, there should be a lot of mixed race hybrid people running around too! like a weird green orange mixed person because humans never stay in one place and transportation is accessible across the planets.
It won't just be earth mars and the moon's of Jupiter. I would advice you listen to some of Isaac Arthur's videos. Most people would probably be in rotating space habitats (unless they have some special attachment to living on Planets).

This is so cool! However, I think that Venus should have been terraformed as well, or at least all these humans discovered that there were Venusians living in either a long terraformed Venus or cloud cities at the very least. This is because Venus is more similar to Earth in size and gravity, as well as closer to Earth than Mars in general. It would also be less costly to terraform Venus than Mars. But actually, Mercury is closest to all planets, including Earth, most often, so Mercury would be like the hub before going to other planets. Kurzgesagt has a video on terraforming Venus.
Yeah, I probably would've had more planets but I wanted to do the whole solar system in one video and I already had like five different species to talk about. I will have other cloud cities and stuff on different planets, though
I don't get how people on Mars and the moons of Jupiter are getting along well and living in harmony with their environment, but on earth they are not able to. When humans can terraform mars, they can save earth from becoming a reboot of the end permian.
Martians and Jupitorans are a lot wealthier than the Earthlings, so while the technology to fix Earth does exist, it's also really expensive and Earth's government just can't afford it
@@Cree8Ball In order to live in this places permanently humans would have to posess this technology already on earth, before going there. Also between planets there would not really be much trade, so the economies would have few contacts and would be independant. So it is probably not that useful to compare planet-wide economies. There will be rich regions and poor regions like nowadays.

When I heard, that they made cuttlefish intelligent, I remembered storyline from one book written by man named Karel Čapek (for pronounciation, it's czech name). In his book, which is called The War With Salamanders (in czech Válka s mloky), they discover species of intelligent salamanders and strt using them as cheap working power. The salamanders then started to fight against people and blow up continents to get more living space. After that, when there wasn't much left of continents and people were also quite in trouble, the salamanders started war against eachother.
I don't know if this is intentional, but this seems kinda inspired by H.G Wells The Time Machine. That or it just reminded me of it but its set 800,000 years in the future and most of Earth lives underground so they seem pretty similar.
Alright now that i've seen the video fully, it's pretty amazing, having more intelegent life in other places then just on earth, i would definitely see earth being destroyed in an few million years, as do most poeple, mars is doing pretty good for itself, same sorta goes for jupiters moons, it's peaceful there, minus the depression and suicide, i'm guessing, that this "troubling news" will resolt in some higher class/higher intelegence species to rule the other planets, moons and other species. My guess it's probably going to be those heart head things, but that's only a theory.
