I would probably draw a line with a pencil of where I want to cut before I do it, but I like it. I have my Anna by Ivetta Eckertova that looks like my son, but I can't bond with her because of the closed eyes, I would maybe try it some day soon.

Ohh thank you both ladies - the nails are a powder that looks like loose eye shadow, you rub it on and pop a top coat on - has to be done over a coat or 2 of base coat - from Temu 🥰🥰

Good video, very confidence inspiring! Ive just done mine and I spent ages trying to get them to stay in. What I did that worked is, I put a piece of gaffa tape up inside the head behind the socket, stick it above the socket only,, poke the eye into its opening from inside with one finger and under the flap of the tape. Push the tpae down with a chop stick. Do second eye. Add more tape over the top and press well down checking that the eyes are still looking where you hope they are. Once sorted, add a couple more bits of tape. Then stuff the stuffing back in which should hold the tape if it decides to lift. Mine is very sticky tape so I dont think it will. I used Half spherical eyes, I think those more oval looking eyes you are suing would be easier to do with the tape as I had to fiddle and fiddle till it was right. Our doll is vinyl, dont know if gaffa tape will stick to silicone.. Anyway hope that helps someone.

I watched this when it first came out and didn't get my comment in - This is great !! I am not a fan of closed eyed babies. Maybe I will use this technique sometime 🥰⚘
Any mom that had a baby and breastfed her little one, knows that those are the moments that the bonding happens, when the baby looks you straight in the eyes when it's feeding. There is nothing more intense than your baby looking into your eyes. I love open eyes babies too and preferably babies who smile.
What a fab job you did... you got me thinking now... she looks fantastic... did you or were you able to root in eyelashes? Maybe whatever eyelashes you used cut them down so they look faint... instead of long and out there... looooved your comment... lol

Hi, just wondering can you do this with any reborn, i have one and i want to open her closed eyes, Ella sculpt. Also how do you know what size eyes to fit. Im not a reborn artist just bought a few already reborn.
@@janettopham3897 hi, I knew it could be done on this sculpt as I had seen one done - I also wasn’t too worried if I ruined the doll, as for eye size I had a few different sizes and just tried them, I think it would depend on how wide you went - if you are going to try this I recommend trying it on an inexpensive doll first - hope that helps 🥰🥰
WOW! Great job! I did giggle a bit though. Do you realize that you are doing surgery on a doll that is beautifully dressed, and even is wearing a headband when in surgery!? 😂 Once her headband was off and you finished her up I thought she looked great!! 🌹❤
Oh did you see the blood? It was actually from a huge blood blister I had on my tongue, when I burst it there was blood everywhere and I didn’t realise there was still some between my fingers 🥰🥰
