- Hitting the south island of New Zealands on the Harley-Davidson with Tour1 and it's time for part 3! Join me as I continue my tour of the incredible island on Road Glide Harley-Davidson. 3000 miles around South Island with my best friend Emma Wolstenholme, the epic organisation of Tour1 Gary France, and amazing group of Harley-Davidson riders. From the scenery to the roads, the landscapes to the hotels, it’s been incredible. It’s been a wild adventure with landslides, extreme weather, seals and flat track, to gondolas and unicorns.

I watched your 3 videos of your New Zealand trip. I live near Christchurch in New Zealand and often ride the trip you did at least once a year, sometimes twice. I never get bored with it and see something different each time. You did a great job of the presentation and I like your vibrant enthusiasm. One ride that is also nice to do is ride into Mount Cook, which is about a 70 minute ride in from Lake Tekapo. Continue to do your enjoyable trips and enjoy life.

I’ve enjoyed watching your trip around my back yard! I ride these roads often & take them for granted but having just completed a 2 week tour in Peru I can’t wait to get back out there on them! Next time if you get back you need to do the full Burt experience & then head around the Catlins 😜

Another top video Vanessa. I would love to add this to my bucket list but due to health issues over the last few years I'm unlikely to do it on a bike. If I could turn back the clock and have my time again I'd have loved to have done the route in the 80's on my beloved Yamaha XS1100 1.1S in black of course with my ex missus

As ever another great video. You havn't helped me narrow down my plans for an overseas tour next year. New Zeland looks increderable. I'm sure there are easier ways to break your side stand though!

Cool series. You’re kinda on the wrong type of bike for those roads and NZ in general. Would have to be a comfy powerful adventure bike for me.
Mt Cook carries its icefields all summer ... so its white when ever you ride past ... you were lucky to have a clear day. In the future when you come again ... take the time to ride on up to the Hermitage and back ... get amongst them not look at them from a distance.

We seemed to jump pretty quick from a view of the TV transmitting tower (at 5:20) above Christchurch and a view of Lyttelton Harbour to Bluff as if we were at the same place !!!!
I think she just filled the bits in between talking with random footage I don’t think it was in any particular order.
@@vwlover2I got that impression so I stopped watching. Too much casual stuffing around with footage. I like a direction and can't stand it when things aren't in order.

Definitely wasnt an intention to make it look like the same place, it is impossible to film every second of everyday riding, the amount of footage to sift through to create a video would be thousands of gigabytes, so unfortunately parts need to be trimmed to be able to show the highlights without having a video that goes for a full 8-10 hours, sorry to hear your dissatisfaction, but thanks for watching anyway

Ha Ha, I've heard you guys have a bend in the road every 10 km or so. All jokes aside heading to Aus from NZ in Oct for the Moto GP , hiring an ADV bike for a few days before hand for the great ocean road Grampians etc, looking forward to it, wish I had more time to ride there.
