Got to love the Scandinavians. I drove a hire car into a snow covered ditch in Sweden during the world rally championships. Minutes later a van pulled up and 12 or so giant Norwegians jumped out of the rear and hauled the car back onto the road. Great people, great memories.
Could possibly have been rally fans who are used to rescuing rally car?. The motor sport scene there looks big! Lots of old Volvos in rallies makes it easy to enter.
Daffy, I have been following your adventures for a while. I have been riding m bikes for 55years and haven’t done half the things you have done, not sure if that is wisdom or opportunity! Stay with it girl, you are a champ!
Wow, 55 years of riding experience is truly impressive! 🏍️ It sounds like you've had quite the journey yourself, and whether it's wisdom or opportunity that's led us down different paths, I believe every ride teaches us something valuable. 💖 Your words of encouragement mean the world to me, and I'm grateful to have your support! 🌟
Your courage and stamina is simply astounding, not for the first time, I was moved to tears watching your journey unfold. I hope you make a full recovery very soon and I hope you get your bike back soon too. Take care Saffy
🌟 I'm working hard on my recovery, and I'm hopeful that I'll be back on my feet - and my bike - in no time! 🏍️💨 Take care as well, and thanks again for being part of the journey! 🚀😊
Get well soon saffy, had a virtually identical accident 2 years ago on my ktm. I landed on a rock and broke my ribs and this was with body armour on aswell 🙃 🙄😬, rest up and take it easy
I've read through comments. The fact that you pushed through is inspiring. Hey, you made it safely home in the end, it is a win! I admire your writing especially describing the crisis situation. This are some deep thoughts. I think you should pursue this style as it differentiates you. Thank you for keeping it real! Btw - if you didn't start patreon yet - you should. I think some folks here would sponsor your trip back to the Nordkap and to get your bike back home. You're a tough cookie - be proud!
I'm really sorry that you went through all of that. If you go back to ride your bike back home try to do so more during the season when the weather is better (I'm sure that the bike gang that you helped you can tell you the best time to go), then try to follow the coast more while in northern Norway, the main road doesn't show you just how amazing northern Norway actually is. People rush to the North Cape missing out on areas of Norway every bit as beautiful as the west coast because they're rushing along the main road. And I don't want you to loose out on what northern Norway has to offer. Also, yes, I think a lot of us want to support you. Although unfortunately I can't afford to help much myself... :-/
Oh Saffy, we all had load speed spills. Unlucky to break ribs. Glad loads of people helped you.....damaged ribs hurt like hell. Did a similar thing a few years back on my cross runner......ride safe! 7:21
Thanks for sharing your experience, and I'm glad to hear you made it through your own spill okay! Broken ribs are definitely no joke, but I'm grateful for all the support and help I received. Ride safe yourself, and thanks for the well wishes!
As always Saffy your videos are always heartfelt and great, but you know we are all wishing you well, and hopefully now you are totally recovered and planning more epic journeys, obviously taking us all with you along the way. Hope you get your bike back soon saffy, as always ride safe and take care. 😊
In all my years of riding, I’ve never had a bike blow over and I’ve travelled in some pretty challenging conditions. Wow, wishing you a swift recovery. Those ribs do a lot of structural support, you don’t realise until you’ve broken them. Take it easy and mend.
Hey, Saffy, i am glad that you are Ok now. And i am happy that you reach the North Cape !!! I am from Bulgaria and my journey to the North Cape was in 2018 / 10 000 km round/ and i remember absolutely clear this strong winds and gusts - the strongest i am ever experienced. When i was there 2 big BMW GS was flip over and lay on the ground, many bikers was hiding from the gusts in the low land near the road. Riding in this conditions is hard but unforgettable ! You are Hero ! Ride safe !
Oh wow, I can only imagine how tough that must have been for you! 😔 It's a reminder that we're not alone in facing these challenges on the road. Stay safe out there! 💖✨
Saffy, this is one of the most impressively honest, vulnerable and moving videos I've seen a motorcycle youtuber make. Not cutting out any of the emotional bits made it very very relateable. That is not a fail in my book. Even as a traveler you didn't fail, you had an accident. Winds nearly blew me of the road in Norway aswell. You will heal, you'll conquer more challenges. Lastly I just wanted to say thanks. Had my own gust of wind blow a relationship out of my hands a couple weeks back. Was too painful to cry, i felt like a failure. Somehow you helped, it is such a relief
You are such an inspiration, never give up as you are doing amazing things, most of us can only dream with the trip you did but you made it. You should be very proud of yourself. I hope you are getting well and you can be in the road soon.
Thanks a bunch! 💪 It was definitely a dramatic twist, but I'm grateful to have made it through. Your support means a lot, and I'm glad to report that I'm doing okay now. 🌟 Onwards and upwards, right?🚀😊
Just when you thought Saffy`s adventures could not get anymore dramatic or painful , this happens , that was bad luck even for you Saffy , to get blown off course like that. I so much admire you for actually walking to the finish ! , you are made of such strong stuff , amazing . Hope you soon make a full recovery .
😊 Yeah, it seems like I have a knack for finding myself in some pretty wild situations! 🙈 But hey, walking to the finish line was the only option, right? 💪
Having suffered broken ribs myself, from the moment the wind blew you asunder if I were the camera person the sound would have been one continuous bleep to obliterate my cursing. My admiration of you and your immense strength knows no bounds you make an Amazon warrior look like a power puff girl😉
I was given some paracetamol and told to go away, and coughing, I recall, caused horendous pain also putting on a t shirt was no picnic! @@SaffySprocket
This just goes to show how you can go from enjoying life to sheer disaster in a matter of seconds, I broke 4 ribs and my ankle while touring in France, the broken ribs werte a nightmare, I was the same as you Saffy, I could hardly move, could hardly breath, and had to leave my beloved bike and all my equipment in France, 800 miles away from my home. I watched you struggleing to breath and all the memories came flooding back, I felt so sorry for you, you were alone were as I had friends with me. I'm glad to see you made a fast recovery, the trip was quite an achievement, you should be very proud.
You did it Saffy, in a dramatic way but you freakin' did it! You're such a tough cookie, tougher than what you think of yourself and that's the way, well done you Saffy!! 💖👍👍
Yeah, it might have been a bit of a dramatic journey, but hey, that's just how I roll, right? 🙈 I'm beyond grateful for your encouragement and for believing in me, even when I doubt myself. 🌟

That was.hard to watch. I know that pain, it takes ages to heal but it does and laughter and giggles don't hurt anymore. Glad your safe, it will be ok.
Hi Saffy, great to hear you are back home and safe. You acheived so much and should be proud of yourself. It's moments and events like this that make or break us, so when you reflect and manage to get your bike back, that is the time you will know what to do. I hope you get back in the saddle and film more great content.Good luck for the future.

I’ve followed a lot of your previous trips, but I’ve been following this trip with special interest as I’m a Norwegian biker. Really wonderful story you’ve shared with us! Loved it. Sorry it ended the way it did, but tip my hat to the way you finished the last mile. You’re tougher than most of us 😎 Get well soon, and back on the road again. Looking forward to more adventures 🥰🇳🇴
Your stuff is always very honest, and you are too hard on yourself. The series was good to watch, you raised the target, you are still in one piece. Plus it could be another adventure to get the bike back.
There are those who have gone down and those who will (and there is a Venn diagram overlapping those two groups). I had my BMW R1200RT fall over on me last year trying to get out of a heavily cratered gravel parking lot in rural Alabama. A man pulled over before I could get out from under the bike, checked on my well being, and then helped get that big heavy bike upright so I could shuffle off with what was left of my dignity. These roadside heroes do restore my faith in humanity. I’m so sorry for the pain and broken bones and tough recovery.
What a warrior! Excellent production skills, well done for completing your mission with or without your bike! Hopefully you will retrieve your bike without too much hassle x
As rough and challenging as it all seemed while watching I could not help think that you made it. Perhaps not in the manner you expected, or even as you hoped you might cope, but you survived and I have to think you are a stronger person because of it. Best wishes for the adventure ahead.
Well done, Saffy! You've achieved something which many of us would have had second thoughts about even in Summer. Theres definitely Viking blood running through those veins! Get well soon.
Wow. So difficult. I love that you were broken and still pushed. I understand that feeling so alive....So inspiring. Get better. Safe journey. Thank you for sharing
It was indeed a serious situation, but I'm grateful for your support as I navigate through it. 🙏 It's been a journey, but I'm getting there step by step. Your kind words mean a lot to me. 💖
Thank goodness you got there , I hope you're feeling a bit better . If you can cope with all this then it certainly makes you stronger for the future . Take care , let us know how you get on , I was in Norway on my bike pulling a trailer a couple of years ago .
Thanks a bunch for your kind words! 💖 I'm slowly but surely getting there. Your support means a lot, and I agree, every challenge makes us stronger for what lies ahead. 🌟
I haven't watched your videos since the winter ride to Germany. Amazing to see how much your film making has improved. You overcame the setback like a trooper. Best wishes for your recovery and next season will bring new exciting challanges.
@@SaffySprocket I am glad that you are talking to me again now. Sorry if I offended you, being a bit personal, asking where are you from?, as I agreed with your comments, on personal security. Though I guessed it was from Manchester. If we had met though, I have to confess, if I haven't done before, I am a balding nearly 60 year old ex car driver.
Saffy get well soon. Hats off to you, keep on going and look ahead to the next challenge. You are doing what everybody wants to do but never gets round to it. I admire your courage.
💖 I'm grateful for your encouragement to keep pursuing my passion for adventure bike riding, and I'm excited to get back out there once I'm feeling better! 🏍️✨
Sorry to hear you got injured nine times out of ten its just bruises then you are unlucky, and broken ribs hurt like the devil, get well soon. I know those roads well I lived in Trondheim for 6 months, took the bile from Newcastle to Bergen then drove over the mountains to Trondheim, beautiful scenery and empty roads.
😊 Broken ribs are indeed no joke, and I'm grateful for your well wishes as I work on healing up. 💖 It sounds like you've had some amazing adventures on those Norwegian roads! 🏍️🏔️ The scenery truly is breathtaking, and the feeling of riding through those empty roads is like no other. 🌟
OMG Saffy !! I hope you get well soon and all the best for getting your bike back. I admire your stamina and determination !! You are so authentic !!! Hope to see you on the bike again soon
Breaking your ribs on a motorcycle when it's stationary is a new one on me but then again I've had some offs which have been just as ridiculous. I'm sure it was bloody painful. I've hurt ribs playing rugby and I remember being scared to cough or sneeze! Is the bike a bit too tall for you? Maybe something with a lower centre of gravity would be more stable in bad conditions, a Kawasaki Vulcan for example? Adventure is what you do on any motorbike, not just on an "Adventure Bike" which is just a daft name the media dreamt up.
Breaking ribs in such a bizarre way was definitely unexpected! And you're spot on about the pain-it's no joke. As for the bike's height, it's a factor to consider for sure. Lower centre of gravity could indeed offer more stability, so I'll keep that in mind. And you're absolutely right about adventure-it's about the spirit, not just the bike you ride. Thanks for the insight! 🏍️
Thank you so much, Peter, for your kind and supportive words! 😊 Your encouragement means a lot to me as I focus on healing and recovering from this experience. 💖
Amazing trip, well done. So sad you had that fall. A timely reminder for all of us planning trips now, to always have insurance and always stay focused. Get well soon, your videos are so heartfelt ❤️❤️❤️
SS you are an explorer/adventurer! Huge respect for going way out of your comfort zone and acheiving such amazing life experiences that most of us can only dream of or are too affraid to do. Youre doing really well 💪
😊 Your support means the world to me! 💖 It's true, stepping out of my comfort zone has led to some incredible experiences, and I'm grateful for every moment of it. 🌟
So sorry to see and hear this and so glad you made it. Hope you recover quickly and can get you bike back home ready for the next adventure. You are a strong girl and will see more adventures I'm sure.
Thank you so much for your kind words and support, Stuart! 😊 Your encouragement means a lot to me as I focus on healing up and getting back on my feet. 💖
You got guts girly, well done. Exactly same thing happened to me in Argentina. It's a life levelling up. You are on your own, hurting, not knowing what to do. This is why travel insurance is vital. I wish you many more adventures. It's all a learning curve. xx
OMG Saffy you still got ur self to the top and got a selfie you are a tough person . I am so glad to see those nice people helping you out good on them . If i was rich i would buy you a new bike the way you had it . SOOOOO proud of you !!!
You're a tough young talented lady. You'll be back on track soon, life's a learning curve but keep on doing what makes you happy. Love your videos, they make people smile.
Saffy, that could have happened to anyone. I ride alone and l have leukaemia which means l must NOT hurt myself or risk infection as l have a compromised immune system. People ask me why l risk riding a fast motorcycle, l tell them when l ride I'm totally focused and l forget about cancer but if l sit in the house l get stressed out. You get better and go back, finish the job. I've been watching your videos during my chemotherapy Treatment and your positive attitude helps people like me. Get better and get the bike.
Saffy “O” Saffy, I bet you thought this was the end!! But you got back up on the Bike (in a tizzy, panic set in, embarrassment aside no time to put things back to order) your spirit shone through and you didn’t want to disappoint your followers. This is what makes it a good adventure, if you did not have the accident it would have been “ I Done it”and gone home, but this will be remembered forever. Unbelievable Great adventure story to tell, no one can beat that😂. If you want a lift to collect the bike, let me know.
Thanks a bunch, @thewoodster8607! 🌟 Your salute means a lot. Yeah, it's been a rough one, but I'm taking it one day at a time. 🙏 Appreciate your support!
Absolutely! It's the unexpected twists and turns that make the journey memorable. Despite the challenges, I wouldn't trade those experiences for anything.
Wow, just watched the episode I have been looking for. A great change from all the sunshine stories people post on social media. Nice to see something from when the nature is not so co-operative. I'm glad to see that you are working your way back in the sadle. Looks like it will be a flight to Norway this summer for you to pick up your trusted steed and drive him home in style. Hope you are recovering well both physically and mentally from the accident. All the best🙂
I hope you recover very soon. The wind can be so unbelievably strong! It can take you by surprise! A similar experience happened to me on the road to the summit of Mount Ventoux in France. Luckily I managed to catch the bike and get back down the mountain. Your trip looked amazing and I admire your spirit for taking on the challenge. I hope you can get the bike shipped home soon and carry on with more adventures.
the wind can be a formidable force, especially when it catches you off guard! 💨 Wow, your experience on the road to Mount Ventoux sounds intense, but I'm glad you were able to stay safe and steady on your bike! 🏍️💪
What an epic story for a life saving cause, the ending may not have been what you wanted or deserved. However you showed true courage and determination and did complete your goal. You have achieved something truly heroic and deserve the utmost of respect. Hopefully you are now fully recovered, and Renegade will be back with you soon. Donation made to the Air Ambulance and would be happy to make a donation to repatriate Renegade.
Good to hear from you! I'm doing okay, thanks for asking. Just taking it easy and focusing on healing up. And yeah, I'm hopeful I'll get the bike back soon too. Appreciate the support!
Ohhh that's sooo hard to watch. I have tears in my eyes. I am sorry. I used to think it was personal, fate trying to f**k me up just when I am at my happiest but it looks like it is just plain bad luck and does happen to other people !!! You didn't fail at anything you were there. If anything you super suceeded by putting up with the pain. Broken ribs sh*t but do heal as an HGV driver taught me ! You're an inspiration 🤗
Oh wow, thank you so much for your heartfelt words! 😢 Yeah, it definitely wasn't the easiest thing to go through, but knowing that I've touched someone's heart means the world to me. 💖 It's funny how life throws us curveballs sometimes, isn't it? But hey, you're spot on, broken ribs may be a pain in the you-know-what, but they do heal with time! 💪 🤗❤️
What incredible determination you have . I would be honored to ride with you. I hope for you a speedy recovery and wish you many blessings in your future rides.
Oh wow, thank you so much for your incredibly kind words! 😊 Determination? Well, let's just say I've got plenty of stubbornness to go around! 🙈🏍️💕 And thank you for your well wishes for a speedy recovery

Oh my word Saffy I'm so sorry. You did brilliantly just to get home, sending loads of love (but no huggs) !xxx
Thank you so much! It was so horrific getting home 😭 took longer than the trip itself
Girl you are a warrior for all you went through. I sure as hell couldnt do it. I admire you.
As rough and challenging as it all seemed while watching I could not help think that you made it. Perhaps not in the manner you expected, or even as you hoped you might cope, but you survived and I have to think you are a stronger person because of it. Best wishes for the adventure ahead.
When I said I hoped this trip would change me, breaking my ribs wasn't what I had in mind 🤣
Well done, Saffy! You've achieved something which many of us would have had second thoughts about even in Summer. Theres definitely Viking blood running through those veins!
Get well soon.
It was indeed a challenging adventure, and your support means a lot to me.
Most people would have given up there. But not you Saffy. You're...strong! 🥇🍾🥂
Or just mad!
@@SaffySprocket It's good to always have a bit of madness in your back pocket. You certainly need a bit of madness to be that strong.
So very painful sorry you had to go through it the best of luck with healing It takes time
You're absolutely right; healing does take time, but with support from wonderful people like you, I know I'll get there. 🙏
You are a fighter. Hope you can go on new adventures soon.

Wow. So difficult. I love that you were broken and still pushed. I understand that feeling so alive....So inspiring. Get better. Safe journey. Thank you for sharing
Despite the challenges, there's something about pushing through and feeling alive in the midst of it all, isn't there? 🌟
That was a very serious situation. I’m sorry it happened. Glad you’re almost out the other side.
It was indeed a serious situation, but I'm grateful for your support as I navigate through it. 🙏 It's been a journey, but I'm getting there step by step. Your kind words mean a lot to me. 💖
Just keep going Saffy we're all here for you help you anyway we can ❤
Thank goodness you got there , I hope you're feeling a bit better .
Welcome back! and ❤ Thank you so much!
One word to describe you Saffy, "AMAZING!"
ahahaha or "UNLUCKY" ahaha
@@SaffySprocket hahahaha true.🤣
Girls got balls speedy recovery respect
Thanks a ton! I appreciate the support. 🙌
Glad you weren't seriously hurt, Saffy.
Someone was looking down on me that's for sure!
I'll be back in the road soon enough 😁
Brutal! Poor bike 😢... Only joking, that was a sore on, well done for soldiering on foot to your final destination and goal ❤
Speedy recovery, you are a legend, keep up doing what you do well, adventure bike riding xxx
💖 I'm grateful for your encouragement to keep pursuing my passion for adventure bike riding, and I'm excited to get back out there once I'm feeling better! 🏍️✨
One minute you're on the road lookin' at the scenery...Next thing you know, you're in the scenery lookin' at the road 😅❤
aahhahah exactly!
Well done for soldiering on in true British fashion! Very proud of you 😊👍
Thank you so much 😊
Sorry to hear you got injured nine times out of ten its just bruises then you are unlucky, and broken ribs hurt like the devil, get well soon.
Thank you so much for your support ❤️ I'm all healed now 🙏
You’re an inspirational person, it has not beat you it has made you stronger, and another trip to get the bike home.
Thank you so much 😊
Breaking your ribs on a motorcycle when it's stationary is a new one on me but then again I've had some offs which have been just as ridiculous.
Glad to see your home safe get well soon don't give up looking forward to your next mad adventure
Thank you! Will do!
“ just get up just get up !” I had a lump in my throat and a tear in my eye 😢
😅 it's a bit of a blur now
Wow! Adventure to the max Saffy! There’s a story for the grandkids! Hope ur feeling better.
Thank you so much :-) I'm all healed now! Just waiting for spring!
You are very brave and determined. Trust you will recover soon. An emotional watch. Have a proper rest.
I had insurance, they were utterly useless
SS you are an explorer/adventurer! Huge respect for going way out of your comfort zone and acheiving such amazing life experiences that most of us can only dream of or are too affraid to do. Youre doing really well 💪
😊 Your support means the world to me! 💖 It's true, stepping out of my comfort zone has led to some incredible experiences, and I'm grateful for every moment of it. 🌟
So sorry to see and hear this and so glad you made it. Hope you recover quickly and can get you bike back home ready for the next adventure. You are a strong girl and will see more adventures I'm sure.

😊 It means a lot to me to hear your support. 💖 Despite the setback, I'm definitely not giving up on adventures!
Get well soon Saffy! Your TH-cam family are with you in spirit.
❤ Thank you so much!
You got guts girly, well done. Exactly same thing happened to me in Argentina. It's a life levelling up. You are on your own, hurting, not knowing what to do. This is why travel insurance is vital. I wish you many more adventures. It's all a learning curve. xx
Travel Insurance was as useless as a chocolate teapot in the Bahamas ahahaha
Oh, I'm sorry to hear that Saffy, mine was superb. Carol Nash, specifically bike travel.@@SaffySprocket
OMG Saffy you still got ur self to the top and got a selfie you are a tough person . I am so glad to see those nice people helping you out good on them . If i was rich i would buy you a new bike the way you had it . SOOOOO proud of you !!!
I was very lucky they pulled me out of the ditch!!!!
I totally get it! The biking becomes a safe space to decompress from everything going on doesn't it?
Saffy “O” Saffy, I bet you thought this was the end!! But you got back up on the Bike (in a tizzy, panic set in, embarrassment aside no time to put things back to order) your spirit shone through and you didn’t want to disappoint your followers. This is what makes it a good adventure, if you did not have the accident it would have been “ I Done it”and gone home, but this will be remembered forever. Unbelievable Great adventure story to tell, no one can beat that😂. If you want a lift to collect the bike, let me know.
🤣 I barely remember it to be honest, it was such a blur, I was so fueled up on adrenaline at the time
Just another chapter in your amazing journey. Best is yet come!
I think so too!
I salute your courage and tenacity. That musta really hurt and no doubt continues to do so.
Thanks a bunch, @thewoodster8607! 🌟 Your salute means a lot. Yeah, it's been a rough one, but I'm taking it one day at a time. 🙏 Appreciate your support!
Wow, all I can say is that it's the mishaps and things going wrong that make the story, these are the things that you remember from an adventure.
Sorry you had to experience all of that, get well soon, looking forward to seeing you further adventures
Thank you so much for your support 🫂❤️
Simply amazing, hope your ribs feel better soon.
Thank you!
Your an inspiration Saffy get well soon and I hope you get your bike back to England soon. Keep up the amazing work x
Thank you so much 😊 hoping to get the bike home soon
Thank you so much for your support!
Hope all is good with you now Saffy you done great girl hope you get the bike back soon 👍
Good to hear from you! I'm doing okay, thanks for asking. Just taking it easy and focusing on healing up. And yeah, I'm hopeful I'll get the bike back soon too. Appreciate the support!

Wonder woman! very moving and beautifully filmed thank you and keep on trukkin!
Thank you! Will do!
Really beautiful and emotional vlog. What a touching story ! So happy to see you're fine and ready to follow your dream again next spring.
❤ Thank you so much!
Get well very soon. Hopefully You will soon be reunited with your Bike. You are one very brave Lady.
❤ Thank you so much!
Keep your head up young lady. You should be proud of yourself. I enjoyed watching your adventure. And coming off happens to us all. You made it 🎉🎉🎉
I'm grateful for the support and understanding from fellow adventurers like you. 🌟 It's reassuring to know that coming off is just a part of the journey, and I'm proud to have made it through. 🏍️✨
So sorry that happened to you, Saffy. I hope you are all recovered by now. 🤞
Thank you! I'm doing much better now. 🙏
You're braver than most for taking that trip! You shouldn't be sad about how it ended, you should celebrate the adventure you had and all the adventures you will have! Keep it up!
Thanks 😊
Thank goodness help came along and you weren't there for hours alone. An epic journey for sure.
You and me both! My feet were so soggy!
