Hexplore It, and specifically entry 4: The Domain of Mirza Noctis, has very quickly become one of my favorite adventure games. Leveling up, exploring the lands, exploring dungeons, huuuge variety of contextual random events, good stuff. Only problem is actually keeping track of the abundance of systems, late game it can feel like a lot
3rd Edition needs the unbreakable bonds expansion to legitimately play solo but if you are ok casting the tokens for combat against your enemies then it plays fine solo. 2nd edition is pretty easy to solo using the doom track variant to serve as a timer for the game. Thanks for watching!
Prophecy also has solo/co-op rules in it's Dragon Realm expansion. I liked the variety of exploration and monsters available in Mistfall, but my first and only impression of the game play was soured by the card play mechanics. Seemed like each character ended up needing to cycle the same card or two back from their discard in order to play it again, and repeat. Perhaps I didn't play it long enough to increase the amount of cards in the deck and, therefore, the variety of decisions so I could be wrong on that. Starting off, there just wasn't enough card play options in combat for my taste, was largely doing the same thing over & over.
Here's a unique idea - how about a list that has only currently available games? It's really disheartening to see the out of print games on such lists. I'm looking for a new adventure game that I can actually get. I really don't need to know what the best game is if it's not available.

Nice list, Harry. We must have similar tastes. I own and have played 7 out of 10 of your list.
Thanks for watching James! Really appreciate it!
Great video! Love LotR LCG and Mage knight! Can You solo Runebound?

FWIW, most out of print games can be found on Ebay or used on Boardgamegeek.
