I got this right around Christmas time and it's awesome- highly recommend! I was wondering if you'd ever mention this product after you've been talking about the microdermabrasion, and I'm so glad you did! The comment about "what this light window has seen" made me laugh out loud! I've had the same thoughts hahaha
I purchased the Kenzzi IPL handset a little over a year ago as Fransceka Boerman and Alexandra Garza were promoting it. My skin is on the darker side, but I did see that my underarm hair was much finer after using the handset a few times. I fell off with my treatments because life, but after seeing this video, I’m going to commit to using it for 12 weeks.

I have suffered from PCOS and excessive testosterone resulting in god-awful facial hair growth that is dark and all over my upper lip, chin, lower jaw line, neck, and sideburn areas. I have the same facial hair issues, diagnosed with hirsutism. Been dealing with facial hair since puberty! I bought the Braun silk pro 5 ipl around 300-350 price range (there are other ones on the market like the Kenzzi), and I'm on just my second treatment on my face. Cant speak about the results for that yet. I like it because I can do at home and maintain it once I get to a good point. I'm praying for good results. So far, I've done my underarms and it's slowed down growth to where I only shave once a week.
I've done professional laser treatments on my face but that hasn't been permanent and it caused hair growth in extended areas. I stopped because it was just too expensive and the other reasons above. I've also done electrolysis and that didn't work for me as a permanent solution and was expensive, time consuming too. Now, I just continued to pluck which takes a lot of time, ugh. I know ipl isn't permanent but I want to get to your point where I'm not plucking or shaving or whatever every single day.

Thank you for your review! I've some questions. For the upper lip, do i need to shave there before starting treatment? My hair there is already quite fine and i either pluck or thread it. After doing the treatment, can i begin to pluck/thread that area, or do i need to wait a certain amount of time for the area to calm down?

I’m wondering is this can be used for the sole purpose of hyperpigmentation. I have some areas on my face that I need hyperpigmentation help with, but I’m light skin toned and light hair in those areas.

This is awesome! I would love to do this on my upper lip, I do have a small mole and you mentioned avoiding those, will it burn on contact with darker skin or just not work? Also, will taking biotin cancel out the IPL? Thanks!
It won’t work and it could potentially darken moles or beauty marks. So I would just steer clear of them
If I'm a guy who is interested in using this kit to remove my facial hair (in place of the traditional shaving with razor blade), do I need to shave my moustache and beard 1st prior to using this kit? Or can I just use it directly on my facial hair? And would this kit work on both dry and wet/damp skin? Or do I need to thoroughly dry my skin 1st?

As a light skinned person with really dark hair, this feels like an actual miracle as well as a good investment.

Had it for 2 weeks. I have been waxing for years but never did arm pits and got a bad case with chin hair. No results yet but it's early. I will say my skin got red but it went away in a few minutes.
Be careful not to let your skin touch the lens or it will hurt really bad.

I wish this would work for me, but I have that super fine, light hair on both my arms and legs. It would be good for armpits and other areas, but not my legs. Which, I guess in the end does end up being a blessing. Because it’s so light and fine I only have to shave my legs once every other week. 🙈😂

I have seen this device all around youtube and I finally decided to try it! Unfortunately, I did have a mix up on my order, and customer service has been horrible :( I looked around online and a lot of people have also had negative experiences with customer service or even redeeming the 90 day money back guarantee because they require you to pay for return shipping (to New Zealand) before they refund you, which is strange because I don't know why the company would want to take back a broken device.

I recently ordered a Kenzzi, and have used it once. I am also focusing on the underarm area. I just wanted to know which setting you put it on. The first time, I used it on the lowest setting. Next time, I will increase it.
The first time, you should always use the lowest setting and see how you feel. I go pretty high though because I have very pale skin.

No eye protection needed, just use common sense. Don’t look directly at the light as it flashes. It’s oddly tempting!

Does it help with removing strawberry legs or reducing the visibility of it?
It could. Although this device isn't specifically designed for that since its wavelength mainly targets melanin, whereas strawberry leg has a blood vessel component to it. Also strawberry leg isn't an exact medical term and some causes of it might be helped with this IPL whereas others won't.
@TukTuk usually a colloquial term to describe skin that has tiny little (usually) red dots on it. Many different causes. Usually involves blood vessels but sometimes, it's just keratosis pilaris (little bumps on skin). If it is "bumpy", routine gentle exfoliation and moisturizer can help. Best to have it diagnosed precisely by a doc before self-treating though

This is not indicated for the treatment of psoriasis. Psoriasis is an autoimmune condition and IPL should not be used as a treatment and could even potentially harm you.

@@kristinabraly I know I was bummed. I bought it for sunspots on my legs (I’m in my 50’s). I had watched Angie at hot and flashy and she had success with her legs, so I was excited to try it out. I gave it the full 12 weeks and then decided to keep doing it longer to see if I just needed more time. By doing that I was unable to get the refund, but it’s ok. I knew it wouldn’t help with my hair since it’s not very dark. I know this works for many though, just not me. Thanks Kristina!
Of course it didn't work. These home machines pulse light is less than 7 joules per CM2. Saloons/clinics lasers work at 4 times stronger power. The Tuber in the video is being paid to say what she says. Course she isn't going to say it is crap, save your money.

I bought Nair and was like "fuck it, I want my body hair gone now" so just applied it to my whole body and it worked well but the hair came back really quickly
I tried those hair removal creams. Did it for 17 weeks, nearly 50 treatments. All it did was make my skin turn super red with a chemical burn which faded 24 hours later thankfully. Also flipping painful. Like a bad sun burn. Total waste of money that cream was.
Had no luck with a cheap sub £50 IPL machine after 31 weeks over two winters and virtually no hair reduction. Currently trying a more expensive machine and after 7 weeks worth of treatments, small reduction but nothing to write home about. Bought second hand though, wasn't prepared to spend nearly £400 on it brand new.
