Yesssss. A few years ago, my friend and I made a ton of characters in Soul Calibur 5 and then picked them at random and played against each other while making up a fiction to explain what was going on. We ended up with an extensive, extremely convoluted, and awesomely dumb story based on what we picked and the outcomes of each fight. Most of our characters were dumb as hell, monsters in their own right. It was a great time.
