He gets difficult later on if you don't build some health later.
For me, I've noticed that we Renekton mains hype up garens damage early on. The first 3 levels, you should have command.
If you can Q poke early and turn off his healing, you should win trades. His e really doesn't do as much damage as you think early. So as he Es you, KEEP AUTOING. Then once it's done, full combo and get out.
Do you have any tips for playing against Kled, i got destroyed by one?
Small short trades are how you win. And try to trade after he misses Q.

I would compare this matchup more to a PvE match rather than fighting an actual player. Garen is so predictable and it requires squeezing every ounce of DPS/sustain to to beat him which isn't rocket science as Renekton, but it takes a muscle memory of knowing what empowered ability to use in what order and doing your best to stop his passive and plan around leaving Garen's E. It's a skill matchup though the skill in Garen's part is only realizing if they're vs a good Renekton player so they can just play back and outscale.
Why do all renekton players use their Q while returning to lane?
I don't understand how many Renekton players struggle with this matchup. I consider it one of his easiest

@@lucasgerosa4177 Yeah Garen's incredibly predictable, not even having a skillshot/mechanic he can playing chicken with and as we can see in the video, the numbers are for him to win. It's more like a PvE fight you can to minmax rather than playing vs a real person.
It’s usually tower diving garen trying to get abilities off just to get silenced under tower never feels good
