So I grew up in a half Christian and half Muslim family. My sister is Muslim too and my brother is Christian. So we don’t go to church or anything but celebrate Christmas with our family. But we also celebrate Muslim holidays. Hope you understand what I mean ❤
Recently I realized I’m no longer Christian and I haven’t told my parents yet. My therapist and I have come up with a plan to write them a letter so it’s easier for me. But I still wanna celebrate Christmas as I love giving gifts to my family and the memories I’ve made every Christmas. Maybe it’s weird but it’s my decision.
As a Christian, a bunch of my atheist friends celebrate. I myself don't lol. It's not about religion, but about the holiday itself and how you feel about it.
Hey, I am atheist, I came out two years ago and I still celebrate Christmas but not as the religious day it is, I celebrate it because is a good day to share with my family, to get gifts, to give love. So no, it's not weird being atheist and celebrating Christmas specially if you come from a Christian family
There's nothing wrong with not celebrating Christmas. You dont celebrate Eid, and there's nothing wrong with that. Look at the translation on surah al-kafirun, and you'll understand.
To anywho reading this this comment JUST a friendly reminder what haram is haram no excuses in Islam as a Muslim we don't say merry Christmas to any Christian, This msg is unacceptable is Islam. but in the end no one can force you it's ofc your choice what you'll do , but dear I have no negative intention or hate its just what the reality is I hope you will agree this someday In sha Allah.
The idea of Christmas directly clashes with islam. Because Christmas is what they say, Jesus Christ “the son of God" (Astagfirullah) was born on that day. Which is direct shirk. As Allah subhanallahuta'ala was never born nor gave birth to anyone. ( Surah Ikhlas, ayat 3) . May Allah show us the right path.
Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not sure really but you can celebrate Christmas without celebrating the religion of it (which isn't originally Christianity anyway)
Hey, no offense meant. But can't it be reused for cake pops... I mean I just had a doubt about it. As I'm also unlearning, relearning about baking. Hence this question. Does it turn really so hard that I can't be consumed?
Man i am indian hindu❤ And on Christmas day, an muslim uncle told me, hey are not you cutting cake?? And he was going back to his home with a big cake and his children😅😅😅
As a Muslim, it's okay to celebrate Christmas with the intention of strengthening family bonds, especially if you have close family members who are not Muslim. Islam encourages maintaining good relationships and showing kindness to everyone, as long as it does not compromise your faith or involve actions contrary to Islamic teachings
Well if a Muslim you can celebrate but maybe not decoration unless maybe family who is maybe Christian. However you don’t need to. I am Islam. Fun fact: Santa is from Türkiye.
For all of those who don’t understand, Christmas is about the birth of Jesus (Christianity) and him being the Messiah. In Islam, Jesus was only a prophet and not the Messiah, therefore not important.
Jesus was and is important in Islam but Christmas is the celebration of the birth of god and Muslims don’t believe that Jesus is god that’s why we don’t celebrate it
of course christmas will always be religious, but it’s pretty much just about having a good time and giving presents. a TON of non-religious and non-christian people celebrate christmas because it’s just fun, plus the music SLAPS
because birthdays are haram and Christmas is a pagan culture holiday, which we can celebrate, and birthdays are haram because they're also a pagan culture holiday soo yeah, not only celebrating a birthday but of our literal prophet!which is crazy. If you celebrate one of the pagan culture holiday, then you're one of them.
...i mean...Christmas can be a Christian holiday...but there is a secular version of Christmas too....its about the joy of giving and i think thats universal
We don't believe we should celebrate it, but being depressed when it's other people's happiness ain't smth nice to do tbh. I only join my Christian friends in their celebration as a kind of support, like they join my ramadan and eid. No need to be too strict and drive people away from Islam, it's a nice religion. As long as you still hold firm into your islamic beliefs you're good
I am muslim and i have a christmas tree and i gift my son. But for us as almost all of the Dutch people Christmas is celebrated as something cultural instead of religious. It has no meaning besides meeting up wirh family and having dinner.

The same folks that swear cause some of us say happy holidays cause there’s a bunch of stuff like haunika (don’t come at me idk how to spell it other than sounding it out) , Christmas, Yule, and other celebrations get angry and insist their oppressed cause an orange bastard and his party of imbeciles told them so. Why? Cause they can’t think and seem to belive that if you don’t force everyone to think alike or being back barbaric archaic trains of thought that the worlds going to end… or that it’s ending…as if it hasn’t “Ended” time and time again when there’s technological advancements, or societal changes, ect. One chapter closes another opens it’s how it’s always been I don’t know why they don’t get that and just learn to be nice to others. 😅
NOOooOoOoOoO you could have gave the cake to me 😢
I would have taken off the outside layer and ate the middle 😭😭😭
You do realize it's stale and gross and rock hard?
The grinch will be missed, he made a perfect shot into the trashcan tho, no notes. 👏 he should pursue a sport of some sort, less stealing from the whos of whoville
I am Muslim and I celebrate Christmas. My parents are divorced and my dad is in a relationship with a Turkish women since I was around 6 years old.
Its not weird to celebrate christmas when you're not Christian ❤ many families, including my own, do
As a Christian, a bunch of my atheist friends celebrate. I myself don't lol. It's not about religion, but about the holiday itself and how you feel about it.
@@VitasInfinite it's not about the religion? We celebrate Christmas because it's the birth of Christ
Hey, I am atheist, I came out two years ago and I still celebrate Christmas but not as the religious day it is, I celebrate it because is a good day to share with my family, to get gifts, to give love. So no, it's not weird being atheist and celebrating Christmas specially if you come from a Christian family
@@VitasInfinite i mean it kinda is about religion but yeah anyone can celebrate it ig
I'm Muslim but I get happy when Christmas because in the game you get a lot of good things 😅
There's nothing wrong with not celebrating Christmas. You dont celebrate Eid, and there's nothing wrong with that. Look at the translation on surah al-kafirun, and you'll understand.
NOO NOT THE CAKEE poor cake😢

To anywho reading this this comment JUST a friendly reminder what haram is haram no excuses in Islam as a Muslim we don't say merry Christmas to any Christian, This msg is unacceptable is Islam. but in the end no one can force you it's ofc your choice what you'll do , but dear I have no negative intention or hate its just what the reality is I hope you will agree this someday In sha Allah.
She is a baker in the US who doesn't discriminate against customers
This is so true what's harram is harram
I nearly had a heart attack and thought the haram police got to you fr Mimo!! 😭❤️
Please ummah do not end up like mohamed salah please 😂 🤲🤦♀️ “Whoever imitates a people is one of them.”
Spread the word
I'm starting on my cake decorating journey. Thank you for the tip
Noooo.... Poor cake, though he made good content!!
Same but I have to it I know it's wasting but one thing when will ramadan come I need money for saving
For most people Christmas isn’t all about anything religious altogether. Its about cookies, gifts, tacky decor, spending time with family
My dad doesn’t want to ruin a big part of my childhood so I get presents and still celebrate
She's a baker. She doesn't discriminate against customers.
Different religions, easy
Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not sure really but you can celebrate Christmas without celebrating the religion of it (which isn't originally Christianity anyway)
That’s paganism it’s haram anyway
No you can’t , In Islam you can only celebrate two festivals that’s 2 Eids apart from that you can’t take part in any celebration.
Hey, no offense meant. But can't it be reused for cake pops... I mean I just had a doubt about it. As I'm also unlearning, relearning about baking. Hence this question. Does it turn really so hard that I can't be consumed?
I am Muslim and when I was young we used to celebrate Christmas 🎄
Damn straight, cuz that’s what ur supposed to do and not believe lies !
You can make trifle with forgotten cake.....or you can fry it and enjoy with ice-cream
I’m a Christian and I don’t celebrate Christmas either.
My dad gets us presents on Christmas so we don't feel Left out, I'm literally listening to this on the LED headphones he bought me 💕
Man i am indian hindu❤
And on Christmas day, an muslim uncle told me, hey are not you cutting cake??
And he was going back to his home with a big cake and his children😅😅😅
NOOOO WHY DID U RUIN SUCH A BEAUTIFUL AND DELICIOUS CAKE😭😭😭😭
I’m Muslim and I wish we could celebrate Christmas but we can’t
Me too
girl what 💀
so you wanna celebrate "jesus"'s birthday? seriously?💀not only are birthdays haram but even celebrating JESUS'S birthday?nah bro, what the heck?
As a Muslim, it's okay to celebrate Christmas with the intention of strengthening family bonds, especially if you have close family members who are not Muslim. Islam encourages maintaining good relationships and showing kindness to everyone, as long as it does not compromise your faith or involve actions contrary to Islamic teachings
As a junkie this hurts me😔
Lmao as a Muslim American Christmas is just a vibe yknow ❤
Same i want to get gifts too😔 (but i won't broke the rules)
Well if a Muslim you can celebrate but maybe not decoration unless maybe family who is maybe Christian. However you don’t need to. I am Islam.
Fun fact: Santa is from Türkiye.
I Love It! ❤
IM EARLY OMGG HIIII LOVE YOUR CONTENTT
I have a lot of muslim and friends so instead of saying Merry Christmas to everyone I just say happy early New Year's
For all of those who don’t understand, Christmas is about the birth of Jesus (Christianity) and him being the Messiah. In Islam, Jesus was only a prophet and not the Messiah, therefore not important.
Jesus was and is important in Islam but Christmas is the celebration of the birth of god and Muslims don’t believe that Jesus is god that’s why we don’t celebrate it
@ oh, thanks my RS isn’t RSing lol
@@Weirdo_Fay mb apologies if I sounded rude
@ no, I appreciate it!
As salam aleykum
Actually we muslims believe Isa alaihi salam is also the messiah just to correct u on that the quran says this very clearly
I’m gonna feel bad for the audio that cries
Im Muslim we don’t celebrate Christmas but we celebrate new year
No we don’t . We can only celebrate 2 festivals that’s two Eid’s
@@ByNafeeza new year not something else new year doesn’t mean Christmas
Strange. Aziz Nikolaus (Santa) is Turkish but we dont celebrate christmas.
True im a muslim and i dont celebrate Christmas
My boyfriend is christian and I celebrate christmas with him and he celebrates aid with me haha ❤
I'm Muslim and we watch Home alone every year on Christmas and New year's 😭
ım muslim, we are not celebrate chrismas but we celebrate the new year
of course christmas will always be religious, but it’s pretty much just about having a good time and giving presents. a TON of non-religious and non-christian people celebrate christmas because it’s just fun, plus the music SLAPS
We don't celebrate chrismas but we don't waste food too...😠
Omg i thought u wasted food before i read the comment 😂😂😂
I am muslim the best thing to be muslim is you know who is the god❤❤❤❤
i swear if i catch a comment being mean to mimo 😤
like whyyy??? she’s literally so sweet and spreads nothing but love, joy, and inclusivity ❤️
Bro she wasted some perfectly good cake
I was about to be like why waste a good cake but then I saw the description understandable.
Guys im muslim but my dads friend always sends us cake and we eat it😭✨️
To be honest, not to be rude or anything, but I don't really get what's so bad about not celebrating Christmas 😅
It's not about that Christmas is "bad", it's just what God told us to do
because birthdays are haram and Christmas is a pagan culture holiday, which we can celebrate, and birthdays are haram because they're also a pagan culture holiday soo yeah, not only celebrating a birthday but of our literal prophet!which is crazy. If you celebrate one of the pagan culture holiday, then you're one of them.
...i mean...Christmas can be a Christian holiday...but there is a secular version of Christmas too....its about the joy of giving and i think thats universal
I don't celebrate Christmas. Most of the muslim never do. It doesn't make me bad. I respect them and sometimes enjoy christmas songs
Im a muslim but my dad side is indian sooo i still have to celebrate Christmas....
Haraaaaam
Yes it dose have a meaning allah has given us our own 2 festivals and holidays so stick to them there is no need to do all this imagine on the day if judgment and you get asked why did you mimic the kufar when I made it clear that this was wrong change your ways
Im muslim but my family still thinks we should give presents to atleast have fun without christmas decore
Are you from NZ?
Nooo just eat it please :( No actual celebrations/decorations are needed but in my opinion a cake is fine!
Reading is essential.
