That sweet lil' kit is a smart one, very cautious about accepting food from a (very large) stranger. Their momma and their instincts have taught them well. But good on you for puting the onus on the fox to initiate, rather than trying to force the interaction.
We first had a mom coming fairly clandestinely, only saw glimpses of her. For years we saw various ones, some black, some red. Well within a few months of mom no longer coming around, 2 foxes, one black and one red, obviously boy and girl siblings, started coming around. After awhile the black one, the female stopped coming. Pretty sure she moved to a new territory after finding a mate. The red one kept coming but he started to become more erratic of late. Then the other day we saw him and a female in the woods about a mile and half away. She was looking pregnant. He stopped and sat down when he heard our familiar voices. So it appears he is soon to be a dad. Just last year at this time he was about 4 months old. We wish them safety and plenty of food. We hope to see him and the mom once the pups are born and eventually meet the pups. How fortunate we feel. 😀 👊
We believe the mother left the cubs because I haven’t seen her ,the other cubs are much bigger than this little guy ,we believe it to be the runt and it would not of survived, anyway it came to me one day in the yard it was so hungry so I fed her and named her kit this that was the only time she ate out of my hand a bonding moment, now they all come to get the food, you can watch her development as I post often thanks for watching 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😊
@@anthonyp7008 I had to tell the male sibling when he first started coming not to thank me with his stool. He got the message. You can see him on my posts.
she does look small the runt of the litter that's probably why she came to us then we started feeding her ,in other videos you can see how much bigger the siblings are now they all get food 🤣

Can’t you just put the food on the ground? I have these little guys in my yard (a red fox was in my carport the other night) Not sure why you needed to get him to eat out of your hand, but if it’s working for you, carry on. I suppose he could become a pet, if there’s no mama?
Bro looked around like "Mom told me not to take stuff from strangers"
So sweet. So cute.
Yay!! Little Fox is My Favorite Too!! 🤗🙏😎😂
Patience and a steady hand.

I was so worried about your fingers-chomp!
A valid concern. The hand is food just as much as what is in it.
She definately liked the crunchy goodness of the dog kibble, bless her!!
Good on ya pal, looking after Gods beautiful creatures. 🙏

Is that a coyote pup?
Red fox pup 👍🏻
Hello Kit!
1:00 - the time it took him to train you to fetch food.
I would normally say that's not a good idea, but heck, he's so cute!
A good way to get human scent on it and rejected by its mother
❤ canım bebeğim ❤..Love from ANAMUR....
I would name the fox Trust
What is it, a coyote or a wolf pup?
Red fox pup
@@anthonyp7008 Thank you, I was way off lol.

It was one time to gain trust now they all eat off the ground ,you can see on my others videos
Beautiful
Be funny if after patiently holding his hand out, the fox bit his finger. 😂
I was just about to post this comment. That would have actually made a better video, but this is still gold.
Какой осторожный, молодец.
Wild animals need to be wild, NOT desensitized to humans...you may have just sealed this fox kits fate...
Мама учила что надо быть осторожным, а как кушать хочется
God lov’em ❤❤
😊❤❤❤❤❤
Cute but it is a wild animal! Should be treated as such and never ever fed by hand.
Is something wrong with his eyes?...
I think he was malnourished being the runt 🤔
Hope it's the long lasting relationship
Crunch & munch cutie
God why dont people leave wild animals alone? Losing the fear of humans puts them in danger!! STOP!!!!
dangerous.... they can have rabies...🤨
DO NOT HAND FEED
Are you not supposed to feed wild animals?
