    Ik you said you don't have a perfect ear, I wanna know who the he'll told you that, lol. I guess you mean if someone was to start singing you would have to find their key, however if you can hear all of those advance/ fusion chords thats a perfect ear to me, love it my brother keep it up please.GOD BLESS YOU!!!!!

    • @SeanWilsonPiano
      @SeanWilsonPiano  4 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Everyone says perfect pitch cause they want a quick understanding of how I’m picking up chords. But hearing chords has little to do with perfect pitch. I have tons of vids on the channel that talk about the process. Perfect pitch cannot be improved but the ear can, see latest vid on this Tips to hearing difficult gospel chords, runs, and moves |Ear Training and Breakdown

      @@SeanWilsonPiano I think I understand what you are saying, my definition of perfect pitch is if some one start to sing you can start playing in that key without hesitation with no fumbling, however your great and thanks so much for your reply, i think ive seen all of your vids, and all of them are awesome, will continue to follow you, your the best to me, stay blessed.

    • @SeanWilsonPiano
      @SeanWilsonPiano  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      That’s not perfect pitch that a REALLY good ear. Which you can develop as well. There is a link where I’m doing that on the channel, sometime in 2017

    • @zoans6731
      @zoans6731 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@kennethjoshua3325 that's true pitch or pitch memory which I believe Sean has. It also let's you find the key of a song without an instrument but it's not quite perfect pitch

    • @SeanWilsonPiano
      @SeanWilsonPiano  4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@zoans6731 yes your memory serves you correct, I used the term "tonal memory" and "pitch recognition" which is my ability to remember what a note sounds like. People do this all the time, start singing a song in the same key even if they aren't musicians. They just remembered the notes, but that combined with good relative pitch, and a good ear, will be far more powerful than perfect pitch. FAR MORE... perfect pitch doesn't hear chords

    This guy, goodness me, when Quennel plays, goosebumps all over. I can't imagine how many hours of grind he put in to hone his skills to that ridiculous level of monstership.

    Hi Sean,in spite of the fact that you are the best musician and share your experience for nothing, but most of all I like your human emotionality and admiration by other musicians for their performance. Just this also shows that you are a very good person. Thank you for your great work done!!!
