I live in Dundee so I can see the planes land out of my window it’s a very nice scene and I’ve been on this flight a couple of times it was a pleasent experience I went once on Covid time and they didn’t serve food wich was alright and having a pilots licence cause I fly Cessna 172s and Cessna citations it’s a realy nice approach onto the airport because most airports are on the outskirts of cities but I like how you go over the 2 bridges and the Tay and the park and the road train track and the football pitches it’s realy nice enjoyed your video
This service from Dundee city to London city started beginning of the year,first flight 6.50 to LCY then as your trip then I think it returns Dundee then LCY then the 19.30 return end of day service
Great video. I often see these flights on the approach to Dundee as we stay under one of the flight paths they use over Fife. Looking forward to the next report. Blair
@@willycanuck I normally get the London Overground from where I live to Shadwell and then the DLR, journey time 1 hour.. Gatwick is around 30/40 minutes.
Hi I want to use the Loganair service from London to Dundee on a regular basis but I always end up using british airways to Edinburgh then a bus from Edinburgh to dundee since loganair is always too expensive. Is there any way to get these loganair flights cheaper?
So, I've often wondered, is their cabin service really only a soft drink and a biscuit? I mean, I used to be crew on an ATR 42 and we did a full buy on board cabin service on flights that were 30 minutes or under. I would imagine Loganair ticket price is of the "higher end" too
It's a temporary restricted cabin service of water and a biscuit. They do plan on returning to a fuller service again later this year on flights over 30 minutes.
I used to work for Loganair at Glasgow.... in the days when we had Islanders, Trilanders and an old Beeechcraft C18 (The Bomber).

I flew from Dundee to London City Airport recently, after my train was cancelled due to strikes. Definitely the way to go in future.

That ATR was not new in 1962 mate, That would make it 62 years old.

Yes it goes from Dundee to LCY in the morning then LCY > Dundee, then Dundee > Belfast, Belfast > Dundee, Dundee > LCY, LCY > Dundee.

I agree with your comments about LCY. I live closer to Gatwick, but much prefer LCY
