Thanks a lot Doug. Glad you enjoyed it! This particular DM800 will be a dump truck so I need to find it a donor dump body and components and then off to Phase 2.
I greatly appreciate your thoroughness. A question: with a red and white paint scheme, in applying decals (as your video presents in 3:31), would it be better to place red stripes over a white surface?
@@RightOnReplicas , hi, Doug. Thank you so much for your prompt response. To my question: with a red and white paint scheme, in applying decals (as your video presents in 3:31), would it be better to place red stripes over a white surface?

Mike, It's not uncommon. It helps to build the frame on a flat surface with gridlines and slow setting glue to adjust it. You may also have to use the hot/cold bath to get it straight again! PS, please help us reach more modelers by subscribing if you haven't done so already. -Doug

Hello and how are you just wonder whether if you know a guy who made models trucks he called him self the Plastic Cowboy ? He mostly only built Peter built models he had his own website .
i think MPC need to rework this kit to fix the issues before re release. This looks like a poor quality kit in the 70s, expecially the cab looks like its falling off the chassis. Nice job .
