    Being objective! - He is certainly talented; however, I see some of the same weaknesses a few NBA analysts have pointed out. He will definitely benefit from 2 years of college to unlearn some of those AAU all-star team type habits like playing with his head down and only focusing on the basket. He does rebound, play defense and pass; however, he does not seem to do it at full speed. And, at times he seems a little lost without the ball and when the play is not going through him; he has got to get better at moving without the ball. Btw, none of this takes away from his tremendous talent and 'potential' at the next level. I put potential in quotes because we have all seen many Cooper Flagg's who are only remembered as high school basketball legends.

    • @paulfarley9365
      @paulfarley9365 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Those are all good critiques/observations and I agree with you about moving without the ball. One thing I did see when I was at that game was that he is very quick to react to a shot going up and then deciding what to do with the rebound. On one sequence, he attempted a block, but missed. He immediately went back up and got the rebound and then VERY quickly threw a full court pass to his teammate breaking for the basket. The quickness with which he did all three of those actions left an impression on me.

      Haha. Coop playing with his head down. Never happens! Focused on the rim. I guess you haven't really watch coop much. He rarely looks at the rim. Most unselfish player you will ever see. He has no holes in his game. Can he get better? Yes. And he will.

      Name someone with Cooper Flagg's game, (other than LaBron) when they were in the 11th grade? You do understand Montverde beat the Boozer twins highschool team by 40? They also beat another team by 92 the other day, and this wasn't a normal highschool team. So remember this is the best Highschool team EVER that Flagg is clearly the most athletic, and best basketball player on that team. Ben Simmons was a surefire No.1 pick while playing for national.champion Montverde, and we know Flagg is better at really every part of the game than Ben Simmons, much better.

      Damn Joker! I mean better than that Joker, The Joker is arguably the best player in the NBA, and you can't understand why no team in the NBA can do anything about him. Shawn Bradly wasn't playing against the best players in America in highschool and dominating. Shawn Bradley wasn't a highschool All American I don't believe. There is a piece on Shawn Bradley where he outright says I didn't care about basketball at all. He got his 90 million dollar contract, and hung em up. Remember he took two years off of basketball for a mission trip?? Shawn Bradley played like he didn't care, except in college and he was rough in college.

    • @jamescausey4381
      @jamescausey4381 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      And can jump and black 8 shots or more in 3 straight games in biggest All American tournament they have now. If he's slow then on the break he's much faster down tha court at 6'9 than anybody in highschool. Why is he dominate in highschool like he is if he's slow? He's gonna use his height rather than try to dribble past everybody at 6'9?? Joker says you don't have to be fast or quick to dominate basketballs best players in the world. Joker is strong, apparently real strong cause he's not but 6'10 245lbs and he is simply better at playing basketball which has he and teamates putting more balls in the basket which equals beat downs of teams with two and three All Stars. Joker has no All Stars on his team, some should make the team this season because they look real good with the Joker controlling the game. We do know the Joker really could average 35 a game easy if he weren't playing a game that means winning.

      Slow? He'll be a plus athlete at his position in the NBA. Athleticism isn't an issue for him, his shooting is what would hold him back from being an all time great.
