Going to try this in my Toyota Avalon. Thank you for sharing step by step for us female's that doesn't have a man to help us out.😊
My brother used this stuff 40 years ago on his cars, i guess it still is the go to tire quick fix, and it's budget friendly.
Thank you for this idea
This was helpful! Thank you.
You're welcome!
@@HelpingHermit new subscriber, too. I love that your video didn’t have fluff.. the directions were clear and concise.
Thank you!
I followed your instructions, used FixaFlat for a Honda CR-V rear tire, and the leak was sealed. Next, I'll have to see how long the fix works. Thanks for the advice.
it should last the lifetime of the tire.
Gunna try this on my '99 suburban this weekend. Been having to air it up every week like clockwork once a week ever eince it got cold and hopefully this fixes it
I ran over a nail, and the guys at Goodyear left it in there, and it blew up on me the next week. You can’t trust mechanics.
thanks
How do you know what a 1/3 of the fix a flat is? I also have the same problem with my Volvo front right tire.
you don't have to be exact. You'll get an idea with the weight of the bottle in your hand and how slowly the foam is going through the tube.
@@HelpingHermit I put it in Today the cap would not screw on and when it did I lost most of the contents on the ground.
I do this then when it pops flats with the fix a flat I get a new one
Hello, I have a question. What does it mean when the fix a flat isn’t going inside of the tire? Instead it’s just making a mess everywhere. Am I doing something wrong? I follow the directions and it’s not going inside of my tire 🥺
are you sure you have it tighten really well. Its normal for some to spew out. maybe you have too much air in it. Try to remove some air from it.
@@HelpingHermit hi! Yes I had it on tightly. and actually you just made me think of something, because I did have a lot of air in my tire, I had filled it up like 2 hours prior. I’m assuming it didn’t have enough room to get inside. When it starts to deflate I will try it again. Thankyou for responding 💙
question my leak seems to be coming from the rim, will this still help?
its worth a try
I have the same problem. I have a tire that goes low every few weeks. It still does it after getting new tires. I hope this fixes my rim leak.
@@Martin_Entertainsupdate? I have that issue after getting new tires SMFH
@@ratherbskillin9275 It worked 🥳
What happens when you get a new tire?
Their site says it should be removed within 3 days or 100 miles, whichever comes first. So obviously it's only a temporary fix sadly
need 57K more subscribes 😮
$8? I spent $14!
its better than spending 50 on a repair or 200 for a new tire
17 bucks on sale here lol
You may “want” a TH-cam play button but what you “need” is to skip a meal
😂Come on, man! Don't do him like that!!😂😂
