Oh, I have a lot to say about those who delude themselves in to thinking that there is a sense of relief from the mundane through war. In short, they are insane, and I want nothing to do with people like them. Plus they trap themselves in stupid false dichotomies. I have never served. I would never sign a contract that says that I don't own me anymore. I have talked to plenty of people who have, and served in combat. I will say a few things. 1.) PTSD is no joke. 2.) Should you come home alive, and G-d forbid you are injured, and/or you do have bad PTSD, the very government that demanded your sacrifice will leave you in the cold. Literally. The proof is how many homeless veterans we got in this country. Our government is evil to allow that to happen. And any government that thinks it has a right to draft its citizens and put people in that position is evil, as is anyone who thinks it's okay for a government to do that. 3.) Conscripts are a liability to professional soldiers, and have a higher mortality rate. In other words, the likelihood of scenario 2 happening to a conscript is practically a guarantee.
Jesus is the way, the truth, the life. No one comes to the father but by him. No man made religions required. Believe on the son and you WILL be saved.
