Great video, When you doing the gearbox maintenance I'm going to do mine both at the same time...already bought all the things i need to do the maintenance of the gearbox and differentiation
Thank you soo much for these videos!!! The local Alfa romeo dealer is over 2.5hr away from me and always completely booked on appointments. These videos help me do it all myself and save time/money!! ❤️❤️🫡
@@ndumiso I made these wooden wheel cribs to lift the car up high enough I can work underneath easily. It’s best to have your car level to do these kind of fills
@@NutzuKLI it resets the amount of slip the cars been accustomed to with the older fluid iirc, MES is a must for alfa owners I would recommend picking it up for yourself!

And they would charge an arm and a leg for this work
@@dillanpatel2347 awesome! It’s just way more convenient being able to do it whenever you’ve got free time
@@bluequadrifoglio6057 agreed ^ I was told $415 total for the service by my local dealer
Thanks - once again, a great video. Is this oil change really necessary? How often should it be done?
@@rumpelpot I’d recommend every 30K miles and I know many others follow that interval
I have a service ATV code on my Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio, I'm gonna change out this fluid and hopefully that fixes it.
you should be able to diagnose it fully prior to swapping the fluid, hopefully it’s an easy fix for you!
if you have a code it's way more likely to be an electronic fault with a module or wiring.......
@@bluearcherx yeah agreed. Proper diagnosis is needed
@@bluearcherx That's what i was thinking too but i wonder if it's as simple as a plug being unplugged or something.
Remember, when torquing those plugs, you're supposed to say "click" then we know it's right :)
@@ProjectWolfDragon haha forgot about that!
Hi Nick
How do you lift your QV? Would a ramp be sufficient or does it need to be completely horizontal?
@@ndumiso I made these wooden wheel cribs to lift the car up high enough I can work underneath easily. It’s best to have your car level to do these kind of fills
is the calibration really needed? was thinking on doing mine's as I'm at around 75k miles, never changed. i don't have the scan tool

@Nicks_QV thanks for reply. needs also swg bypass, correct? i have a newer stelvio after 2019 eu model

@Nicks_QV so 1 quart is not enough?
@@bluequadrifoglio6057 check description! Should be about 1.9L total however I’d order 3L of fluid for this change just due to spillage etc
