That was a really good replay analysis, you explained your thought process, sped up when necessary and had a good amount of fights as well! Really cool trick jumping up there in the last fight too. Would love to see more of this but maybe in higher gear. Btw I was killing everyone yesterday in my games using your advice! It looked impossible to kill dk, fighter, sm with rogue in the past. Higher gear is most certainly what I enjoy playing more but it's getting harder and harder to find fair matches in high end gear. I will try though. I actually posted a poll to see what gear people like more.
@@iliasbased yes classic castle is a much better but you gotta play in blues. It doesn't feel very rewarding playing classic castle. Blue leather kits are extremely expensive. Very hard to make the money back in classic castle. Blue leather pants alone are 60k or so. Risking a 100-150k blue kit for cheap plate and cloth blue kits doesn't feel great. I'll do some purple kits soon. I have quite a bit of green gear footage to get through but I'll work on a high end gear video. Also yes swords are much more fun than playing with the crossbow. Never enjoyed playing off brand ranger.
The problem is: you are good. To do 2 kills you spent so much effort, they just need to hit you 2 times. You have to go stealth, backstab, playing tempo and using potions to evade.
@@lxiodor Thank you for calling my good. I will say yes, playing rogue can feel like an uphill battle for sure. Maybe it is but I promise anyone can do what I'm doing. I'm trying to give all you rogues out there the tools you need to replicate what I'm doing. To be fair in high end gear the fights are much faster because you deal so much more damage. It can be harder to win fights in Greens sometimes. Also in my videos, I'm being a lot more aggressive and making dumber plays because I want to showcase melee combat with rogue. Ideally when you play rogue you'll be smarter about what fights you pick and when you pick them.
Watching you since the beginning, you inspired me to play rogue but it's sad that the game will brobably die soon and I don't think that new season will change anything.

Do a guide on how to play against each class as rogue. I main rogue and I have a hard time profiting with him on classic. I can never play hard mode bc I never gain enough to even try to play in purples.
This is something I would like to do but I'm unsure what kind of gear to do it in. I can get footage of Greens and sometimes Blues pretty easily but I cannot find matches in Purples (Classic Sinner's). Do you think it matters for writing a guide on how to fight a specific class?

Typically I've play around 12am-2am PST. Have only been playing for an hour or two to gather footage and that's it. Bouncing back and forth between Americas and Asia server to try to get into matches faster.
@@GnawingRat I keep having to duel with a longsword, but he keeps cutting, blocking everything, and constantly charging his weapon. I can't dodge, and I can't parry either.
@@ggzona2408 Yeah it can feel like an uphill battle sometimes but you're faster. Block light attacks or trade with them (depending on your health) Out space charge attacks or go for dagger combo since it will delay their attack (depending on your health and if you're close enough) To dodge turn 180° and hold forward (or dagger dash if you have time) It's going to take practice, like I said I have an absolute ton of fights against longswords on my channel. Watch as much as you need and just practice in greys or greens so you're not risking much.

i think recent patch dropped it from 8 to 6 to start a lobby ive been finding classic castle matches much quicker
