Beautiful driving considering the technicality of the course. Much time left on the table, but man, it must have taken some hours to get that good at such a technical course. Subbed.
Thanks mate. This stage is truly amazing. And from an old game like Richard Burns Rally makes it even more impressive. The amount of details is crazy. And the stage is also crazy fun to drive 👍
I'm surprised that I only just discovered your channel. That stage can't be easy, and your smooth driving suggests that you know what you're doing. +1 sub. and g'day from the Land Down Under, owyergoinmateorite? 🙃👍 Quick question. I've been out of the Sim Racing loop for a while now (nearly a year) and I'm wondering if you know whether anyone's working on some Irish Tarmac Rally stages? I've finally got time (lots of it) to dust off my Sim Rig and get my new PC sorted out and full of games. Finding videos like yours always reminds me of what I've been missing out on, cheers for the motivation 'captain flat spot' - awesome name.
Thanks for the comment mate =) I don't really have the knowledge of the development of new rally stages. Recently tried some richard burns rally and there was some new really awesome stages just released for that. And it feels like there is more and more rally stages coming out for AC. Always nice to back in the rig, especially after some time of. I havn't really had time to race much this month and I already got some simracing itch =) hopefully some more rig time the upcoming weeks. Thanks again for the support 👍
How's your Fanatec DD doing? I saw your first impressions video and it sold me on getting one. I'm really happy with it for now. Did you came across any issues with the base?
Thanks mate. I only have a seq shifter at the moment. So right now I only use the clutch when starting and when using the handbrake. When I get myself a H shifter there will be a lot more clutch work 😅👍
I drove this track on RBR, then I tried it in AC. RBR's version drives better than the AC version. Much better. I don't even bother with the AC version after driving RBR because AC's version you cannot feel the road surface or any bumps.
Hello i discovered your channel from your first video on KartKraft and i couldn't have to watch your others videos. I wanted to say you have nice driving skills ;) I just have a question, what are you csp settings and pp filter to make your game looks like this ?
Thanks 👍 well I experiment all the time with settings to look cool. Today I have different settings than I had when recorded this 🤣 But I like to drive with overcast as weather as I think the trees look really good that way. And in this video I tried using the CSP motion blur. Looks good on video
Press escape and choose back to pits. And then drive and it should work. I have to do that aswell. When I load into the track the car is flying in some strange places.
I am pleased to see that Gary Oldman's son is into rally
🤣 haha youre not the first saying that. But was a few years ago now I heard that.
Dude, this is amazing! So glad I found this video. Thanks for the share
Yea this stage is crazy good 👌
I can only imagine how much time went into learning this track, being able to do that without co-driver callouts is highly impressive.
Haha Yea there was "some" crashing involved in the learning process 🤣
This looks like a lot of fun, great driving as well 👍
thanks mate! Super fun indeed
Hey, Cap, I just tried out track and It's amazing. I've never seen "Pot-holes in a sim before. Truly adds to the realism👍🏾👍🏾
Yea, its great isn't it 😃👍👍
Beautiful driving considering the technicality of the course. Much time left on the table, but man, it must have taken some hours to get that good at such a technical course. Subbed.
Thanks 👍 Yea there is much time left to shave of. But just finish this stage without flying of that narrow road into the forest is a win for me 😅
Great so see my child dream coming to life, racing game in my native country. I live in village similar to that one. GL from Czechia
Awesome Cap!✌😃
This is a great stage, driven it in rbr. Actually not sure I've tried rallying in AC.👌
Thanks. Truly awesome track. This reminded me I have to give RBR a go again 👍
@@captainflatspot RBR can be a hassle to get running at times, but really awesome when it works.✌
It drives like crap in AC. No road surface feel, no bumps.
i live like 1km away from this track, the rally here is amazing
Ohh Nice. The scenery looks amazing. Looks like a nice place to live
5:04 = filthy handling
Nicely done Cap the stage looks great too 😍😍👍
Thanks mate. Yea this track is brutaly awesome 🤘
Awesome video and driving!
Thanks 👍 are you working with simtraxx btw? Noticed your profile pic
@@captainflatspot Yes ;)
@@SIMTRAXX_Konrad Nice! then I can thank you for all the great work with the mod tracks 😄👍 I spent many hours on different ones in AC
This looks badass. Great driving.

That looks wild!
Yea this is a crazy stage 🤘
We should pick a car and do a challenge. :) I love this stage
hehe yea🤘 original AC cars?
@@captainflatspot what car are you thinking?
@@DouglasThompson I'm thinking something stupid..like..hm... Nissan Skyline GTR R34 V-Spec hehe
just raise the suspension and I think it should work hehe
It's very confusing when the road splits into 2 and the wrong way isn't roped off
Indeed it is. Especially without a co driver.
I was sleeping when I heard this car sound
How's your Fanatec DD doing? I saw your first impressions video and it sold me on getting one. I'm really happy with it for now. Did you came across any issues with the base?
The DD is doing great! I had no problems at all with it. And I put many many hours in.
I am currently trying to do this in a rwd 400 hp e30 m3 and it keeps trying to murder me in every corner 😂 Great driving btw, i subbed 👍🏻
Thanks mate. Yea this track/stage really is a killer 🤣
@@captainflatspot just posted my scrappy attempt on my second channel @Ket11pett. Would love to see you check it out ❤️
I love play on this map :) +
Well done. Not bad at all. Are you using clutch when changing gear as well or just use the H-pattern?
Thanks mate. I only have a seq shifter at the moment. So right now I only use the clutch when starting and when using the handbrake. When I get myself a H shifter there will be a lot more clutch work 😅👍

It really looks incredible dude also I will give you a secret, you drive better than me😅
🤣 thanks mate 👍
I like how this game looks...i play wrc and Richard burns rally...what do you like the physic....it looks pretty good
Yea the physics are really good in Assetto Corsa and looks and runs very good. Especially now when running the custom shaders patch and pure mods
Nice💪👌

Why my car is not set on track and crashed at start of this track? I have latest AC steam version.
Press escape and choose back to pits. And then drive and it should work. I have to do that aswell. When I load into the track the car is flying in some strange places.
curious as to why people play rally on AC and not Dirt rally or wrc
Yea I prefer Dirt Rally 2.0 rallying. But it can be fun with some change from time to time 👍
@@captainflatspot ohh ok thanks dude
So was the wheel worth it ? 🤘🏼🏁
Very much 😃👌
What car is this looks really fun
its Kunos Toyota Celica from the ready to race DLC for Assetto Corsa. I love this car 👍
what is the car please
its the Toyota Celica ST185 Turbo from Kunos ready to race DLC
@@captainflatspot thx
Celica is the choice
Rallying without co driver is nonsense
Existing RBR, why run rally in Assetto Corsa? RBR RULES.
That is very true. But for people that have AC installed and not RBR this is great
@@captainflatspot Hungarian RBR is a single file. You will install it and discover the true adventure of Sim Rally. It's a one way trip.
Yea I got it installed and love it👍
