I believe that You are the Son of God, and that you died on the cross for my sins. Cleanse me! Wash me! Forgive me of all of my sins; fill me with the Holy Spirit. I am saved only by what You did on the cross for my sins, and not by my good works. I will no longer continue to live in my sin because I choose to love You more than sin! Thank You for forgiving me in the Name of Jesus Christ I pray; Amen.
If you repeated that prayer, I want to let you know that ALL of your SINS are FORGIVEN! These are some scriptures that will help you as a new believer in Christ:
Romans 10:9 KJV - "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
Acts 2:21 KJV - "And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved."
1 John 1:9 KJV - "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
If you confess your sins with your mouth to the Lord, then He will forgive you of your sins. You do need to repent though; meaning to change your mind. Change your mind on all sin, and trust only in the Blood of Jesus, and you will be on your way to Heaven. God bless you!

Yes being proud in general is a sin… you should only boast in God. For example: saying things like: “God is so good,” or “God is amazing,” etc.
