Looks worse than the last one :( But Bang For Your Buck It's AMAZING :D Nothing can really compete with this car (Onroad/OffRoad/Performance/Price) Top of the range auto/4wd will be around R350K Maybe the Subaru Crosstrek.. but that's an extra 50K just for a base model :/ and over 150k extra for the spec'd out sports version.

Love your reviews Juliet, but as an ex owner of the Duster 4x4 I need to tell you this car is a hot mess. Never ending cabin rattle from all over the place, styrofoam in the spare wheel well, broken fuel cap door, inaccurate fuel consumption reporting (my real fuel consumption is as around 7l/100km not the 5.5 being reported by the car), strained engine even with gentle driving, inadequate storage space for driver, cheap rattly door pillar/seatbelt attachment, plywood spare wheel cover (not even stitched close), license plate holder screwed in without one washer so it became detached, strange hill start assist that needs you to pump it to work, having to start the car from 2nd gear because 1st is so short, positioning and unresponsiveness of aircon taking my eyes off road for long periods, very weak air vent into footwell, strange speedometer with 30/50/70/90/110 markings. If the 4x4 cost R250k it would be value for money, but at almost R400k it’s a joke. Anyone who would buy the 4x2 for R340k is throwing their money away. Let’s not forget the car’s 0 star Latin N-Cap rating. This is a DACIA, ask yourself why they refuse to badge it as a Renault in Europe. It’s pawned off to developing markets as a Renault and then overpriced. It’s not cheap, it’s not cheerful. At best it’s a decent off-road vehicle if you live in the bundus.
Renault entered the South African market with Dacia products originally, so it'd cause immense confusion to then rebadge them as Dacia. Also, the Dacia products badged as Renault allows for progression through the brand; Sandero to Clio, Captur/Duster to Kadjar etc...
@@ConnorGibbsAK only Europeans know that Dacia is an originally Romanian car manufacturer bought by Renault. We can not sell the cars under the Dacia badge in the rest of the world because nobody would trust a car unheard of by them
I don’t mind the USB port where it is. Many cellphone holders that attach to windscreen or air vents. There’s also the recess above cubbyhole. Any of these would keep the cable off the screen. Would actually be a problem if the USB port was below the screen.

~ Oh I disagree .. I drove 38,000 miles in the previous model, and find that this one is streets ahead in every area .. I love my 2019 Duster ..
