Both Renault Kadjar and Duster share the same 4X4 system, which is made by Nissan, and use a knob to select between 4x4 auto, 4x4 lock and 4x2 driving mode. In Dacia Spring, which is an electric car with automatic gearbox, the same knob is instead used to select between D N and R.
It seems that you got the worst model in NZ. In South Africa we've got 4 models, all powered by a very frugal, torquey 1.5 turbo diesel engine as well as a 4X4 which is excellent for off-road trips. Also very well priced compared to rivals.
Thanks for watching and comments. I think you're right, but it's also the rebadging to Renault that makes it an odd choice in term of brand line up and overprice
@@TarmacLife Should be $25k or lower on par with Haval. $29 - $30K too high. The centre arm rest was very flimsy. The plastic lever for the seat adjustments was cheap plastic and flimsy.
The small "cup holder" or "shot holder" beneath the hand brake is actually designed to accomodate a 4X4 knob which is found in models with AWD
Never knew that, but the same small holder is on other non 4x4 models /brands

Hello. It is available in Australia? If yes, can you elaborate on the different trims available. Thanks

I looked at one, cheap plastic fit out. Drum rear brakes. Low tech.
Thanks for watching and comments, can't argue with you at all. If priced low it's a good option though

@@lancey1053 I can't disagree with you. Capable but pricey.
