    Is it possible to make a tutorial on cool footwork stuff, cuz some people do crazy things with grapevine and triangles but idk how they do it x)

    I'm a figure skater but am completely dazzled by your skating and these videos. any skaters in your crew with figure skates? if so, a video with tricks you can do with toe picks would be awesome!!!

    • @NagyerdeiKorisok
      @NagyerdeiKorisok  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The majority of the freestyle community uses hockey skates so we don't have experience with toe picks. But I'll keep making these kind of tutorials. Are these new to figure skaters? I know some of the freestyle tricks are just stolen figure skating moves, but there are tricks like this that I've never seen done by figure skaters

    • @LauraSinnott
      @LauraSinnott 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      that's exactly it- some are variations of figure skating moves but many are not and are unique! keep up the great work!

    the dizziness should go away after several years of spinning often and fast because this thing called the capula in your ear will get used to the spinning and you'll reach a higher threshold for dizziness.

    You guys gotta slow down I'm still getting the butterfly perfect, now you're distracting me with another new thing to learn...maybe pendulum into butterfly...

    • @NagyerdeiKorisok
      @NagyerdeiKorisok  7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The other way around works perfectly, because you land on one foot and have some torque :D
      Anyway, we will really slow down because (as usual) the indoors rink closes after spring, just wanted to give a heads up that not much tutorials are left for this season, but we will be back after some break in the next season!

      Uristenzor - Nagyerdei Korisok sounds like the perfect plan, and that sucks that it shuts...come to England, rink is open year round : D I do envy outdoor skating tho we have almost no rivers that freeze over thick enough to be safe
      Thankyou for the incredible content

    Hey great video!
    Im relatively good at balancing for example I can do the outsideedge stop with ground touching. But I am so unflexible! Its for me almost impossible to do the trick "spreadangle" ! I am just too unflexible but I want to improvf that! Could you give me some tips to practise or make a vid.
    Btw.: your tutorials helps a lot!

    • @NagyerdeiKorisok
      @NagyerdeiKorisok  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi
      A few minutes (1-2 minutes) stretching after each skating session will help if you really do it every time. Only stretch with WARM muscles (so AFTER the session).
      Dynamic stretching is also working during skating, meaning when you practice something where you have momentum, you use that to exaggerate the movement beyond the needed level. For example I'm warming up for a 540 kick with a standing kick (without the rotation), but kicking much higher than it will be ever needed for that trick.

    • @pietlopsa9164
      @pietlopsa9164 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      ok I keep trying:) I even searched in some ballet internet forums. Sometimes suprised by my own ideas... :c

      The next tutorial will be how to choose skates. It doesn't really matter at all what I use, the shape of my feet are maybe totally different than yours. I just went to the local store, tried all the skates and bought whatever could hold my ankles the most

    • @NagyerdeiKorisok
      @NagyerdeiKorisok  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Szia
      Szerintem elég gagyi kori, nem tudod élezni, csak cserélni a pengét 6000ft-ért. Nekem kb feleannyit bírt ki egy él, mint a sima hokikorin, tehát 6-7 alkalom után cserélni kellett, csak akkor még 2500 ft volt egy pár penge. Jó hír viszont, hogy van egy élezős tutorial videom, ahol fény derül, hogy hogy lehet freestyle-ra baromi jó pengét élezni, ami jobb, mint az ilyen előre beállított bolti pengék.
