Many thanks for the indications on where to find the main fuse box! Owner of a gunmetal HPS here. I actually took off the yellow tank decals above and below as well as the one around the headlight and found it looked a lot better on mine. Love the bike as well and also find that people are very friendly and will often come up to talk about it, which adds to the ownership experience. Will keep watching for mods and helpful tips! Hey Luke, I never knew you did bike videos too! I'm looking at the AJS 125 cafe type thing, the Mondial looks gorgeous but I know I'm unlikely to keep a 125 long after I pass my DAS, so theres no need to splash out. I would go second hand, but it's a bit of a lottery, with new at least you get a warranty and the Chinese made bikes aren't so expensive.
I've had mine about the same time as yours. Taken it to Luxembourg and back, no issues at all on that trip. Spring for the exhaust also broke on mine, but you do need it, it allows for some movement on the exhaust while maintaining a flush connection. While mine was missing there were more vibrations and I swear the acceleration was affected. Mine has a habbit of dropping into kph on the display, easily flicked back, also rear brake power keeps fading. Some idiot reversed into it a month ago so she's currently in the garage :(

I was about to buy one but the sound of the exhaust is really poor in my opinion. I didn't like it very much so I bought a Bullit HERO, which has a really nice and beautiful exhaust sound ! However, I'm in love with the design of the Mondial Hps, so if you have any tip to improve the sound of the exhaust, just let me (us) know ;)

Hi Luke done 300 miles on my hps. And It won't idle Just cuts out. Been told I need a new ecu none in stock got to wait for one from Italy. Been nearly three weeks. Still not arrived. How long did you have to wait? Also told I'm the only one to have that problem. Thanks great Vids. Dave
Luke. Are you doing any further videos about the Bike? Also, after running in did you ever get an accurate reading of Top Speed from the bike on the flat. Be good to know a real figure and compare against the other Chinese Four Strokes about. Plus, is the a remap for it available yet?

Interesting that you have a problems. I have had problems with my Keeway 125 TXM Supermoto. Number Plate and screws falling off and an issue with the ECU as well. After doing my research it seems like a very common problem with with Moto GB bike's. Was also told it never happens and that I was unlucky.

(We both have zero experience on a bike) so I went home and started looking for a 125, and instantly fell in love with this Mondial. Had a quick look on TH-cam for a review and couldn’t believe it was yourself. Was just wondering if you would recommend this bike to a complete motorcycle virgin ? Found one for sale about 20 mins from me in Scarborough and I’m seriously considering it. Not to worry if you don’t get the chance to reply, I know your a busy man. Hey Luke, dude I have a question about the breaking in of the engine. Was the bike limited on the first 1000km ? did it remapped itself after you pass them? Mine seems a little bit limited.
I have the same bike in grey; it will hold 60-65mph on the motorway for hours - but it feels most solid and comfortable riding on windy lanes at 45-55mph
Watching through ur vids, and give you thumbs up, them ears look painfull and a distraction, god only nos how comfy a good fitting helmet can be , I’m an old git and been riding for 45 yrs so hopefully, I no my stuff, generally, I’m looking through vids to find what appears to be a fairly cheap RELIABLE , 125 for commuting the small 1.7 miles to work , can’t be arsed to man handle my big bike for the short distance , of what I’ve seen so far , considering a bullit ,,, they appear to have character and seem well built , shame this things are so strangled and restricted, in my younger day , 33 bhp was 125 , area of power , cheers Shane uk 🇬🇧

Hi Luke. Could you tell me how much your insurance was. I ordered my mondial but have been unable to insure her as the cheapest quote is over £800 for the year. Most insurers won't touch it as they don't know what it is. Any pointers much appreciated mate.

Got it with Adrian Flux mate. Bit pee'd off they won't do fully comp though. Really wanted one so gotta take what I can. That geezer from motors for the masses said he used bikesure. But they said they wouldn't even insure it? Only God knows.
Alpha Sam mine done the same wot u got to do is hold the button on the side of the dash for 5 second then turn the ignition on while still holding down the button it will change back
Hey Gurdeep, in the UK you need an A1 license for a 125, or you can just get your CBT and ride it with L plates. The L plates make you a bit of a target for Mondeo drivers though.

Chinese or not that fuse placing is design fault not prodution ... and as per usuall italians are great designers but .... ( fill in the blank yourself) builders ...😆😆😆

To be honest, I am getting good results with an old Samsung Note 3 or S7 Edge on a plastic neck loop thing. Picks up the sound really well!

ECU easy fix under warranty but after that? Give me carbs anyday. Pretty bike though.

I had the same issue, used Lexham but quote was higher than for most 125cc bikes, just because they didn't know what it was :s
