Love the voice, and Liam's comments :)
Your voice is perfect for these types of videos, I honestly don't know what's so bad about his voice.
Enjoyed the information, thank you.
why do people hate the dude's voice? i actually like it.
It's divisive. Like marmite.

Evening!
Hated that voice to be honest... but the content was great.
Difficult voice to listen to, pronunciation of many things much different that I learned in music school, and illness was to appreciated.
I cant stand the voice, so I just put on closed captions..
booooooo
@@samf9953 ok
It would help if the narrator pronounced Baroque correctly
Correctly? Where you there? Do you have a recording of someone in the Baroque period saying "hello this is Dennis and I sure am enjoying life in the Baroque period" ?
Because I bet you don't.
@@StabbedPanda Don't get me wrong - I apprecite your video, but you might find that more educators might use it if you used terms correctly. First of all, the term Barroque was not coined until the mid 19th century - during the Romantic period. As far as pronouncing it, you can easily find that online. As a matter of fact, right here on TH-cam: th-cam.com/video/qDpgl0iaY1Y/w-d-xo.html&feature=emb_logo As an educator, I am always looking for humorous approaches to music appreciation; however, I do not want my students to learn things incorrectly. SO, my 2 cents of advice would be to make sure you have your facts down, add the humor, and you might find your video takes off. Educators like myself will not use videos where there are blatant mistakes. Sorry you had to get defensive.
Also, and this is constructive criticism, try not to answer when you are mad. Think a little, and try to consider that written words do not communicate like the spoken word. It is easy to take things incorrectly. In your frustration, you asked the question "Where you there?" This does not make sense. I am sure you meant "WERE you there." Believe me, I have made SO MANY typos in my lifetime that embarrassed me. This almost always happens when I am in a hurry, or just reacting without thinking. So, in this way, you and I may be alike.
That was terrible; pronunciations are wrong, loud music in the background, whopping through the information, poor sense of humor, etc. I was planning on using this for a history lesson, like the previous Renaissance one, which was good, but no, not this one.
