- Klara is the Poison Type rival from the Isle Armor DLC in Pokemon Sword. She seems kind of entitled and lazy, but just how far can she go if she actually applied herself. Let's find out if Klara has what it takes to become champion?!

She does have a good point about how often skill is considered unimportant in the path of fame. I mean in the real game you also only get as far as you did due to the champion endorsing you. And, the fact you need an endorsement to do the gym challenge in the first place is proof of her point. As many skilled trainer are unlikely to be given the chance to try in the first place.
As she kinda points it: fame isn't the answer but it sure makes things a lot easier.
Fame doesn't always get you everything..but it does give you enough of a boost to where you can achieve things you wanted when you couldn't before without it.
Which is exactly what i thought, it is impressive how this silly guy manages to put some... relatively deep messages in his silly videos.
This past is canon? Because, godammit, is very well writte.
Honestly she has more then just a good point. How many kids that are born into a rich and successful family fail their way up in life. Nobody cares how useless they are and how little life skills they have. They are like the CEO of three failing companies at the age of 20 and still making a profit with tax loopholes.
Damn. Klara is based.
And the only reason we got an endorsement was because the son of the champion was our friend

Starting to think Vasko is doing all these “Can X become champions” stuff with other characters before Bea so there would be the Unova Avengers Assemble thing and all the champions could save Galar from the trouble judging by the ending and i like it

I like that Klara’s background is somewhat similar to Uraraka’s. It’s an interesting addition to what we already know about her and an heartwarming story for why she’s so obsessed with fame.

It's impressive she was first - and only - trainer who knocked out my full team in my Sword Playthrough, I was not prepared for her Slowbro on first round... And having 4 Pokemon weak to poison did not help. Quickdraw is Brutal Ability at times.
Also once more, Nessa shows how difficult she can be.
Only Nessa and Raihan have done that to me
Strat for beating nessa that worked well in my playthrough of sword( sorry for plugging) send out a fire type on the first turn then pivot into a pokemon with absorb that's holding an absorb bulb, and spam absorb.
It's time to get a grass type on your team. Team lacks a grass type on a playthrough, bad things may happen. "Man the grass types have so many weaknesses though." Your a weakness for not having one, I consider them more important than fire types in a playthrough, yeah I said it.

When I did my first nuzlock with the dlc and nuzlocks in general her team in the first time we met nearly sweep my team all my pokemon were at red but one slowpoke a psychic type saved me from losing my run oh an most of my team was weak to her
What's funny is that vasko didn't take the easy route for her by just making her incredibly toxic and using eternatus since it's a poison type, and instead focused on the lesser used poison types. I will say that Klara's design was good but like Avery, you could never achieve her true outfit unless you mod the game to become her.
Her true outfit? because you can get the poison uniform which is basically just her outfit and just get different clothes and hair style then boom Klara

I liked this entry the most, it shows how deep stories in Pokemon could be done. Waiting to see both your Splatoon and Pokemon content!
I like how this series is getting good and shows how Vasko tries to get back in his real body. I want to see more how he would do in the series.
God this makes me actually really like her and relate to her, watching your parents dream of doing something that makes them happy but not seeing them succeed and just working constantly just to make ends meet. Maybe I’m self projecting here but as someone whose lived this, she probably feels like she was a burden to her parents due to her lazy habits and just not being able to help them. Becoming famous would make their lives easier and they wouldn’t have to struggle. Her parents probably didn’t want her to work but she wanted to work anyway just to make them happy, then she saw how it didn’t change their problems. They were still poor, and no one cared.
I have MASSIVE ADHD, I can’t focus on anything without getting distracted or giving up due to my own perfectionism. Constantly feeling like a disappointment my parents because i cant focus on anything or give up due to my own fear of failure. I don’t expect to have things given to me, but I see where she comes from. In a world where everyone has an advantage how do you expect to have one when you come from nothing? Hard work can only get you so far, luck and clot gets you the rest of the way there. This is also comes from a wannabe artist, writer and animator. When everyone’s worked hard, how do you expect to stand out? What makes you better then the twenty your up against.
In Pokémon you can win by wit and skill, in the real world you win by charisma not skill. Even the best artists are forgotten by algorithms.
A lot of this was inspired by my own experience being a 1st generation immigrant. Life is definitely difficult and I hope you manage to find success in your endeavors!

i believe she has a form of learned helplessness where you are put into a situation you cant avoid so many times that when you can do something about it you think that you cant do anything and just give up.

Excellent video as usual! Did Vasko became a Bulbasaur because of Nessa? That's what I assumed and it made me laugh. Also that Bulbasaur art was very cute. Both looking forward to and sad that we're getting towards the end. I wonder if there will be an Oleana run.... Which other characters (on top of Bea) haven't been done yet?

I really hope Bea’s take’s place in Shield so her storyline can be trying to make fighting type the major league gym again over the ghost type. I think it’s Melody and Gordie that confirm the minor and major league gyms of the cities are swapped between Sword and Shield which is where the exclusive gyms come from
Bea's attempt will be in shield as the story has her as a challenger and susceding Alister

If Its Bea’s turn I think Vasko should take the form of Scraggy since she uses a Pangoro but does not have dark type which you need to evolve pancham to pangoro

I would love to see a could hop become champion so that vasko could learn how to judge what Pokemon to be further then just what type specialty they use since hop doesn't have one though if I had to pick a Pokemon that bea would use I would say gallade it fits her specialty it makes sense for her to use it to negate the psychic weakness and it has a weird evolution like her other pokemon like having to use a obscure stone on a male kirlia fits right in with land 3 critical hits in one battle trade me get me to evo level with my defense and attack stats equal

So you travelled back in time to when the original darkest day happened I would know by Avery's voice actor so you might be with every major rival/gym leader until you make it home with everything you have with the friends you made along the way home.
After watching this a few times, I have noticed that in the final hop battle, Vassos says that Hop’s snorlax is a slowpoke
