I would like to point out, if you save before you enter through the top of the snowpoint temple, it will autoload the seed for the pokemon in the temple. Meaning each time, you will get different pokemon. Additionally, I did this method after perfecting my Gallade entry, 10 attempts. ShAlpha Gallade

6:00 that same thing happened to me with a shiny zorua on perm TWO but it was more like 23 because I didn’t do it correct the first time so then had to redo after finishing the rest I didn’t even hear the second one they spawned at the exact same time only when going to catch the shiny alpha zorua did I notice there was two
If you really wanted the Crobat, you could've done cave resets. The "caves" where you can find wild Pokémon, such as the Manaphy cave, Wayward cave, and Snowpoint Temple, don't have the Pokémon load in until you enter them for the first time. You can save in front of them, check for shinies, then reset the game to do quick checks, especially for the alpha Crobat and Gallade, or just to isolate Octillery as Manaphy and Phione can't be shiny
My first shalpha was "funny": i was down in the tunnels in the icelands and heard the shiny sound. Nothing in the caves whatsoever. I then decided to just go out of the cave, save the game and reset to find it. yeah it was the Glalie and i may have screamed
I been off and on trying to get an Alpha of every pokrmon I can, I have about 30 left but most of them are annoying, like cherubi lines and the mon only in STD and my only alpha shiny was a static Golduck and I competed the whole dex before my hunt too 😔 My best story is Scizor in STD in the Ice area my VERY 1st one it was shiny and just recently got an Alpha one when I was considering on evolving an alpha Scyther

You can also do the Braviary fly exploit to land on top of Snowpoint to more easliy by spamming Y, +, A in that order.
