Me n my wife just bought the 2023 Suzuki XL7 Suv 4x2 here in the Philippines take possession tomorrow (friday). Having free tint done, matting, seat covers plus we get 1yr insurance paid for by Suzuki and 3yrs LTO also paid by Suzuki. Its fully loaded to the max. Cannot wait to get it.
I just love Maruti Suzuki Ertiga & this is the face-lift version of the beautiful MUV and I have got 2 sudden brain stroke operations in the year 2015 and I want to buy a new 7 seater fully automatic transmission CVT MUV in my own city samba j&k with a very super duper features and price range from 5 lakhs to 7 lakhs of rupees
The same car ..with a sunroof,a 1.9 ltr engine and 140 to 150 ps power and a leather upholstery in a price bracket of 10 to 12 lakhs pan india wud have really shaken the market and given other car makers sleepless nights
Perubahan desain bagian depan (er3 ke xl7) cukup oke, positif. Yg saya bingung apa bagusnya desain belakang seperti itu sehingga harus dipertahankan sama dengan punya er3? Kesannya sdh bagus2 dari depan begitu ke belakang jadi hambar.
This vehicle seems very simple and Basic Model, mostly manually operating things even Gear system seems weaker (road test will define better) if the price is reasonable compared with other same category brands then could get some space. Hope for the best.
Suzuki cars are good. I owned XL7 abroad and driven for couple of years. Good car. But disappointed to say, Suzuki did not take the designs up to date and not bringing in models, automation, aesthetics to the demands of people in India.

I m happy with ignis but it would be 1000 kg weight with 1.5 lt. or 1.2 lt. Hybrid engine with 120 bhp with 16 inches wheel with 200 mm ground clearance hota to !
I bought this car by accident because on the way to Mitsubishi dealer to buy Xpader cross that we have been researching and do test driving and we like it at that time, we saw a Suzuki dealer and we thought, why not stop by to see what they can offer. then my wife enter the dealer while I was waiting in the car because my baby is sleeping in her car seat. I thought my wife is going to look at Suzuki Ertiga which is the same segment as that Xpander. through the glass window, I can see my wife entering XL7 and that is the first time I really look at it, it look nice. anyway, after a while, I call my wife because the baby crying and in a miss communication she thought I was telling her to buy that car, so she give a deposit for Xl7...when she get into our car, I say let go to Mitsubishi dealer now, and to my horror, I get the news...well since we going to lose out deposit if we cancel the purchase as that's the condition (we can challenge it but will take time) so we go through with the whole purchasing and the next day the car arrives in my house. it is actually a very good car and it's under-marketed and like a quiet boy with full potential but stay shy in the corner. the more I drive it, the more I fall in love with it. I'm glad I bought this car instead of Xpander.. because if we bought Xpander, our decision is heavily influenced by other people and marketing of that car, it turns out to have many features that we don't actually need and many features that we need is actually in XL7. XL7 is more fuel economy compared to the other competitors, the cabin is surprisingly spacious than the others while the dimension of the car is slightly smaller. It's more solidly built and fit and the finish is actually better and the last with all the features included, it is still the cheapest of all. it's my first accidental car that I don't regret at all...
For those Indians are asking when the XL7 is coming to India? Its already been on sale since 2019 as the XL6. Please stop asking for launch dates as the vehicle is already there.
Recently we buyed XL6 that is 1 month over I think XL 6 is better then xl7 because XL6 has captain seats in the middle which can be reclined but XL 7 or Ertiga doesn't have ......thats what i want to say.. I suggest XL 6
A good visual review of the XL-7. However, Suzuki needs to give more focus on safety features - airbags on all sides, and subject this car to Global NCAP testing so that they can give a safe car to their customers. Just gizmo's and sunroof's no longer make a car good. A better true Hybrid engine would be required in the era of emission norms. Otherwise a VFM- Value For Money car.

For that prize the Veloz G has almost got it all features against XL7 , dont get me wrong , its just suzuki has to step up at least for the airbags coz this is why toyota has the edge from its competitor and im a fan of xl7 because of its simplicity and fuel efficiency, however 6 airbags would be a thing to consider for a family car.

Maruti should have given a different design to XL series other than Ertiga. It has lost the wide / premium look at the rear. Front looks greater..
