As a rythym strummer , it sounds good to me , and have been considering one myself , especially in the colour!!!! (rarer?) .....Yes the WR buckers are unique to Fender , I believe! .. ...Just discovered your channel and like your straight ahead demos!!!!👍✌
I love the guitar in general, a stripped down hot rod, rock machine! I absolutely LOVE the blue sparkle. The only thing I don't like is the white pick guard. I'm not sure what would be better, but it takes over the amazingness of the blue sparkle paint job too much for me and it's just too much white. Maybe just take the whole pick guard off and let the blue sparkle shine in the sun and don't even HAVE a pick guard at all!
Well, I'm not hitting it with a ton of drive, either. It's a bridge-pickup only guitar so if you want it to sound "thick" on the same platform you'll want to look for something with a higher-output bucker. WRs are a lot more jangle/bright than Gibson-style buckers.
It sounds amazing with drive and high gain. More cutting and bite and twang than a Les Paul and that's a good thing in my opinion. But this is a fire breather with an Angry Charlie pedal or even a Klon dimed.
Solid playing brother
I want this so bad...i just love the finish and i hated when i hd to sell my brown one for rent...but such is life
Exactly... the world is brutal these days!

Thanks!!! I appreciate that... I try to let people know the tone they're starting from...!

It wouldn’t look good without a pick guard, it’s pre-routed for a Humbucker in the neck position.
How's the neck thickness? My last paranormal Squier had a neck that was too thin.
Yeah, pretty modern and thin/quick, with a '60s sorta curviness to it
What is that dirt pedal? A dreamcrusher from EQD?
Special Cranker
Ps ... The opening strummer comment was meanf to me , and certainly not a comment on your excellent guitar playing, young man!!!!😉👏
Sounds very thin and blan. I love the look of it but Im not sold on the sound. I was looking at buying one but this video has turned me off a little.
