Dagan could sell ice to an Eskimo, was so set on buying an Ibanez and was going to pull the trigger on the sale. After this video I’m back to square one 😂
I got the black one, but the mocha was tempting as hell. I just thought the light maple neck looked better with the black, but a tiny bit odd with the maple.
I love that this guitar is basically the Deryck Whibley Squier just with a different pickup and without the "Xs", I think it is worth the money, add a SD JB and you get an amazing punk-metal guitar imo
You do a killer job at reviewing everything.. really appreciate the way you play and describe everything.. this really helps confirm what people are hearing during the demos 👍👍
I love Esquires, I got one as my main guitar and I'm constantly impressed by how a single pickup guitar designed 70 years ago is still the most versatile ever made. I think I need a Esquire Deluxe as a backup sooner or later.
I think it is cool! I got one of the Paranormal Series Cabronita Thinline teles and I love that little guitar! Almost too light to have any tone but it does and it is glorious!
I'm getting one. I'm excited because it'll easily be the most versatile thing with 6 strings that I'll have. As someone who plays a lot of different stuff, it's perfect. Well, I guess the 6 string bass is also super versatile, but I just get into Primus mode when I pick that up. Makes me wanna dress in blue - yes, navy blue - from head to toe except for my patent shoes.
I just got one of the natural ones used from gc.. having two trains of thought. One is what are my options for pickup replacement? Without losing the 3 selector options? I play a lot of metal and that leads to next though of throwing a fender baritone neck with locking tuners, maybe back to classic tele neck or keep strat on this body paired with a new pup.. maybe blackwinter or Brandon Ellis new dyad? am I cranking my own junk or is this a good idea lol
I built my own Esquire that is purple and has a Floyd Rose, Humbucker, hockey stick neck, two knobs, and a selector switch that works as a kill switch along with the tone knob working as a kill switch. If I ever get famous and Fender/Kramer/Charvel makes my model can you do a review on it? It’s a shred Teley
Got one of those, really cool but having issues with the stock pickup squealing at stage volumes with gain. Ended up putting a JB in a pickup ring with the ring screwed to the pickguard, sounds a LOT better now. Stock pup is not a real wide range, it's just a cheap humbucker made to look like a wide range. The rotary switch is a cool idea though, and the guitar looks amazing. Neck is like a Classic Vibe: on the thin side with hard glossy finish
I’m considering doing a similar and changing the pickup to a standard PAF style humbucker but thought I’d have to get a new pickguard to accommodate. Does it work just adding a pickup ring?
i want to know under pickguard whats looks like , i mean if i want add a neck pickup , just buy new pickguard , drop the pickup in and done , no need any wood work , my local music store out of stock 70s classic vibe tele deluxe , this looks quite nice , only one thing i dont like is not a tins color lacquer, to me 70s big headstock is the best looking fender headstock.
Why not just get one of the various models that already has two pickups? You could have H, WRH, SC. However from what I’ve seen all Squiers Tele bodies are routed for two humbuckers so you can put whatever pickups you like in it.
@@pfg_pedals because 70s classic vibe tele deluxe out of stock quite some in my local guitar shop , so maybe just buy this instead of tele deluxe, i mean not really must need to put neck pickup in it, just good to knows you can do it without any wood work, i think classic vibe deluxe $40 cheaper than this one, looks squiers getting expensive .
@@bukwok ahh I understand. Yeah if you only have local stock to choose from it’s tough. I have the Affinity Series “Deluxe” that just has the regular size humbuckers, which is why I chose it over the CV, easy and cheaper to put in a good set of pups.
Just when I think I'm done buying new toys, Dagan comes along and gets me divorced😂
now read this comment without context
.... the same happend to me .....✌️ 😆🇩🇪
😂😂
This is the way
I wish I could buy a night with Dagan ❤
That intro immediately blew me away. What a sound. Love a guitar that’s a bit weird and not like what everyone else has.
Love the black on black with the maple neck

I love the simplicity of it. The first guitar I played as a teen was a single pickup.
The mocha looks so classy.

An Esquire with enough beef to possibly compete with the mighty might Les Paul junior.
Oh yeah! ⚡️
Literally Deryck Whibley’s guitar, I love it.
I just bought one today and I love it. A total rock machine!
Is the body same depth as a regular Telecaster ? It's seems thinner.

Dam I like it and I'm a Strat guy. Another home run for Squier!
Just bought one....sounds and plays amazing

That guitar and amp combo sounds great for punk or classic rock style stuff.

Awesome demo on this git. This is tone I’d want from an Esquire.

So glad im single n a tele person i need one
Dagan, how many espressos?
NEVER ENOUGH!
Please do a demo of 83 Kramer reissue.
Cool axe !
don't need another one pickup guitar right?
Deryck Whibley brought me here
Put Cunife wide range pup in it and you will get clean chimmey sound.

It's been a while since I opened it, but from memory it's routed for a neck pickup but the control cavity won't fit the usual 4 pots of a Deluxe
@@yessitsme6884 great, one tone one vol control layout ,like humbucker strat , so totally fine to me.

Is that an actual Cunife wide range humbucker pickup ?
No.
Really great guitar but they really should have tinted the neck though
I think the light maple looks good with the black one, but odd with the mocha color way.
You English dudes. MOCKAH finish, haha. It's MOE Kah
And why is the amp's treble on ELEVEN?
Just a shame these are all made in Gina....
indonesia
Boohoo. Shell out the extra 2000$ for American lol
