Fantastic review, very tempted by this. I currently have the KF BA225, I do like the fact the centre column can collapse down and that you can also convert it to a monopod which came in a handy a few times, it also has a bit more working height, but it is 160g heavier: - K&F BA225: 35cm folded, 152cm max height, 8kg load capacity, 1013g carbon fibre, converts to monopod - Sirui Traveler 5C: 33cm folded, 138cm max height, 4kg load capacity, 850g carbon fibre
Thanks for the review! I already have a similar travel tripod however and while it is light weight to carry it is at the same time almost too light when it comes to wind. I only have mft cameras, including the G9, so not too heavy. The Sirui 7c looks interesting as a cross between a more substantial and a travel tripod.
Hello Joe. Yes the 7c is really good and I miss it a lot. It's also twice the price but worth it. However the 5c has grown on me for some reason 😉. Thanks for the comment. Cheers!
Thanks for the review!! Can you replace the head? They say 4kg max load, I have a Sony A7 IV with a 200-600, that's about 3kg - do you think it'd be really unusable/too heavy?
Hello! Yes you can replace the head but it will still be unstable because the tripod is very light. If you tighten the ballhead enough, it will hold 3kg. I've tried it with my 150-500mm but I wouldn't leave the setup unattended. Thanks for the comment. Cheers!.
@@M1R0_Life_through_a_lens Thanks for the reply! Yeah not planning on leaving it unattended, but tripods sometimes help for wildlife photography so I was wondering if I could use it. I'm gonna order one, my current tripod is 1.6kg, it's not every day. that I can save so much weight on my gear for 100 euros :P
an endearing personality; keeps me watching to the end.
Hey! Thanks a lot. Really appriciate it. Cheers!

Hello. Thanks for the nice comment. The only issue is the height when I'm making videos. It's good for photography and it's really light. Cheers!

Worth noting that the Sirui Travler 5CX has a better ball head compared to the 5C.
Hello. Thanks for the info. Maybe the next one will be the 5cx😆. Cheers!
Can it handle a Sony A7Cii with a Tamron 28-200?
Hello. Sure, but not in a windy situation 😉. Cheers!
Can I use it inverted?
Yes you can. You just turn it around. Thanks for the comment. Cheers!
mine broke after 1 year; those damn shims
Ha! Yes it's not the best of quality but for this price point is OK ;). Thanks for the comment. Cheers!
