Hi everyone! After a long break from web dev tutorials I am finally back again and ready to get back into making videos on it again. 🙂 Based on my analytics, I can see that about 80% of my top watched videos are on "HTML & CSS", so I have decided to update my older course and create "fun" web dev videos in-between. 😊 Hope you all enjoy! EDIT: Anyone with a sharp eye will notice that Atom is being retired in 4 days... So just ignore that recommendation. 😂
I'm a old dinosaur C, C++, C# programmer. Since I now have to learn Web page programming I wanted to thank you for your videos. I'm off and running! But, perhaps more importantly, I wanted to tell you that I got to visit Denmark way back in 1983. I spent 4 days in Aarhus. It was wonderful! Out of all the countries I got to visit Denmark will ALWAYS be my absolute favorite. I tell people about it whenever I get the chance. Now to continue your lessons...
Yet another fantastic installment, Dani! Thank you for revisiting HTML and CSS and updating for 2023. . . your instruction is invaluable! And super-fun!
i really love this Mr Dani, as a beginner im just diving to HTML & Css full course programming, i hope you attend to questions if i got some difficulties working on it
I want to say that I love how you teach and have learned much about web development from you. I was just wondering if you could make an updated javascript playlist version like you did for HTML and CSS. thank you so much keep it up.
Hey Bro! Thanks so much for all of your help. I have been watching and following your HTML/CSS/PHP courses for years. You have helped me get jobs from following your tuts! Are you going to be doing updated PHP as well?
hi dani i started html and css this year september and i watched all your videos on it from back then. can you please go into more detail on how to make a responsive webpage. like do 1 for tablets and 1 for phones but start it from scratch please. as the 1 you did before confused me as you were talking about your banner etc please would be a great help. all 60 people from my morning and afternoon class i recommended your channel to learn as you teach so well thanks so much
Hi Dani I Enjoyed and learned a lot from this tutorials! Thanks! Question: why do you not use the "Open with live server" in the tutorials? I this it is much easier than refreshing every time. Heni (In South Africa in Afrikaans: Hennie)
Simply because a lot of my viewers, get "scared off" if I start getting into plugins. 🙂 HTML is the very first step into digital development, so I try to avoid anything that might confuse or scare people who aren't as familiar with software, as someone like you and me are. 😊 But I do use live update plugins, whenever I do things on my own. 🙂 (as shown in my latest Laravel course).
@@Dani_Krossing Hi Dani I had more problems trying to use the method you used than Live Server. Webdesign is a part-time forced hobby. Started with Frontpage way back in 2000... The Dreamweaver and ExpressionWeb 4... In nearly 8 years I did not do any new designs and then I was asked to upgrade a huge website. That is how I ended up using your course in HTML and Css. May you go from strength to strength in 2025!
I've used Visual Studio for several years and learned more about it (in some ways) on this one video and one other than I ever learned prior. A lot of people that teach these things seem to think you (the viewer) understand the editor (and yeah I could search for specific videos regarding it) but.
Believably, Atom Editor and all repositories has been Sun setted/archived as of 15th December 2022? Still able to use it, of course. :) UPDATE : This can be seen at 3:13 at the top of the website displayed.
hi tutor.I wanna ask a question.Actually ı cannot learn as write to notebook because that taking a lot time.Do you have any pdf or book or anything like these?ıf you answer ı'll be happy😊
That's good but you may also continue in the PHP to the advanced level since is the language which is helping us to make some money and you're the only tutor I trust in PHP.
Is it better to follow your new html css course to create a portfolio website, or your old videos- "creating a portfolio website video" (which you have in the middle of the course from 4 years ago) will be good to use for 2023. For example- is there a new way which you do the website responsive which important to study over the old way? Kind regards :)
You should definitely follow the new course, since it is much better structured and teaches essential things that the older one doesn’t. I haven’t quite uploaded a lesson on responsive web design yet in the new one, but you can always go back to the old course for that specific lesson. 🙂
@@Dani_Krossing Thank you for your reply :) Just to make sure, so is it "@media" still the right way/ best way of doing our website responsive for 2023, and important to study? Or maybe now days there is a better new way to do it responsive which you recommend. Also- I think you're an amazing teach. Thank you for your courses. Kind regards
Hey sorry, was wondering if there's any help for Responsive Dropdown Navigation menus at all? I've been looking everywhere and so far this course has helped me in that specific field until I found out there wasn't a drop down on video 12. :) The video actually helps me understand how to get different items inside each other and how they work etc. I just struggle with the drop down menu part. And the responsive part, mainly because I'm not touching Javascript until later.
@@Dani_Krossing Would really appreciate it, other videos don't explain anything. They just play music over the top and expect you to know what to do. :/ Only source I've been able to find that actually teaches this in good fashion is yourself. :)
I mean, if you are just gonna be making websites, then any laptop with a good screen, and average specs will work. 🙂 As long as it can browse the internet without being slow, it will do the trick. Just make sure you get a laptop that has at least 1920x1080 in resolution, otherwise your websites will look bigger than it does on other peoples screens.
