My experience with Qin Shi Huang is that you aren't really looking to use him, but if you have trouble beating something and you don't mind the extra turns, he is your guy.
The worst about for example going for Assassin AOE NP banner to get Koyan and you fail and get Cleo etc is not just missing on Koyan, it is also missing on Aoe Berserker banner, Support banner etc. Double pain for the same price.
You can make it hurt less but yes there will always be pain in missing. It's a lot like when I summoned on the gashapon machines in little tokyo. I would have been happy with anyone on the Gintama machine but I wanted Gintoki the most. Such is the life of gacha
Qin Shi Huang is still great. The only requirements for his use are not going against avengers or invul pierce enemies, and most importantly ability to provide crit stars to him. I solved his crit stars need with command codes, and yes he likes having np2 or higher.
Feels like Berserker AOE is the best for a guarenteed good one, but the meta supports are so important its hard to resist going for some of the Caster or Extra ones

Thank you for this video, I only restarted to play recently and it's super helpful to hear opinions from more expert players; I am super torn on where to pull mostly because I really want Ereshkigal (she waifu/10) and I failed to get her on the part 2 start dash, but I already have NP2 Britomart and it would be a bit rough to get her again instead of Ereshkigal or at least Melusine or Romulus (sadly I don't really dig the last one in the banner so it's too much of a risk objectively speaking). I am also at 11 multis on Oberon and he still hasn't come, so might have to go on the extra buster aoe banner just to have another chance, even if I would prefer not getting Koyanskaya... the safest option would be going for the archer st banner since I like them all and would be super happy with any of them. Best outcome would be to actually get Oberon on the current rate up and just go for st archer so I am sure to be happy, but we'll see what my luck will decide for me and if I'll actually resist the temptation of trying to get Eresh. Edit: well, Oberon was kind enough to come today so I'll start saving for Eresh rate up in February and I'll just go for the safe option on the New Year GSSR!
No problem, glad to help in anyway I can! I get what you mean with Eresh because I chased Quetz on Rider GSSR and ended up with every Rider SSR released at the time before her. It's tough chasing your fav at times.... Hope your able to get Oberon before he leaves so you can just go with ST archer!

I am leaning towards ST Assassin, i would love to have any of them! But Van Gogh is my most desired servant and worst case scenario on that banner would be NP2 Himeko, so it wouldn't be TOO bad.
I'm going to for extra quick AOE. As you mentioned, having van gogh really makes this banner more appealing as she really helps the "misses" . Plus douman and ruler skadi are really strong support themselves.
I'm still debating going for Extra Support or Extra ST np. Getting an NP level on Gogh, Bazett or Proto is good and getting Holmes or Himiko ain't really bad lmao. But then you got some meaty buffs coming in the ST extras and I only got Jalter in it, wild card would be Rider with a new Reines or NP levels for Constantine or Maid alter
On the one hand, the Assassin ST is probably the best one if I’m looking for something new. On the other hand, the Berserker AoE could either give me a new(Rikyu) or NP2 for any of the others. Raiko would be my loss, if only in comparison. I’m really torn on this.

I got summer archer Artoria from my start dash gssr, Melusine from her normal banner and Oberon on his current banner in NA i didn't know all of them were really good
That AOE Zerker banner is so good, but it would feel really bad for me to get another Summer Ibuki. I have her at np5, but man Arjuna Alter or another copy of Sen no rikyu or Moegan would amazing. Tough choice.
archer aoe np. used napoleon and 4 stars since 2020 Lol. always tried for the banners with meta supports but now i have almost all of them, i feel free now. the first 3 in that banner, i wanted since i started this game
Clairvoyance EX has to be one of the best things when it comes to the actual game. Sucks when it comes to getting the story and all but given how insanely demanding it is to guarantee a 5 star you want I welcome this skill NA masters have.
Tough choice for me, there's multiple banners with a lot of heavy hitters, but not one that guarantees a win. The one I'm most likely to go with is ST Lancer because it has Melu and summer Tamamo, both being near the top of my wishlist, and Shishou who I have at NP1 and wouldn't mind making an even stronger nuker, and while Bryn isn't one of my favourites I don't dislike her either. Support Extra has three massive wins with Gogh, Lady Avalon and Bazett, but the other three aren't really exciting. Buster Extra AOE has Oberon and Koyan Dark, both also near the top of my wishlist, and Okita Alter and BB as great waifu pulls, I'm strongly considering this one, but summer Abby is both bad in gameplay and a servant I dislike, so it's a gamble. A lot of older GSSRs had even broader pools, but this one is still tricky compared to the two next anni GSSRs with summer 7 pools and next year's GSSR with both Koyans, Morgan and Melu as one of the pools.
I will likely go for Reines, since I don't have any SSR Rider yet, or one of the extra class servants. I don't have a Foreigner yet either. I have all the meta supports, minus Merlin. This is a tough one to choose from. I'm terrified to roll on the Reines banner and get Maid Alter, that would be horrible.
Probably gonna summon on either the Berserker one for Morgan/Arjuna, or the ST Assassin one for old man Hassan/Kama. Both banners have a 2/3 chance of me getting on of my desired units, which makes me somewhat anxious. I've also pondered whether to summon on the AoE Avenger banner (the one with Spishtar/S-Kama), but since I'm going for Nitokris Alter NP5, I don't think I really need them. I want them, but just to have them lol. For reference, my account is relatively new (created during Merlin release, but stopped playing for quite a while) and I merely just completed part 1 of the story. I got most meta supports, but heavily lack options in the dps department, aside from the many 3 stars. Best one I got is NP2 Muramasa, who is great but not yet able to handle more difficult content - or maybe he is, and I'm just too incompetent haha
Yeah getting a NP 5 of a specific class makes it pretty tough to justify using any other people in that class lol. Happened to me with Summer Ibuki where she is just my default go to berserker unless I'm feeling like someone new. Ah I see, those banners make the most sense for when you have most of the Supports to back them up. I also get how you feel because I always get anxious around GSSR until I do it. Even when I've picked the option with the least risk I worry
I think I'm going for extra single target offensive. I only have a NP one Abby and the rest are new and I would welcome them, and if I get a NP 2 Abby then I guess I get to use her more.
we'll see how the oberon and koyan banners go, because id really like to get one or both of them, but if either or both of them come home, I really want to roll for another copy of Arc on the gssr. The extra support banner really seems like a you cant lose banner though, only real low roll would be np2 lady avalon if you already have her
Yeah that's a good call. I was planning to use this GSSR as my Summer Skadi backup plan but I pulled her so it changed things for me. Yeah the Extra Support is actually really good for me... so I may just risk the np 2 Avalon for Van Gogh
The banner I'll prob pull on is AoE Caster as I have none of the 3 units that are on it and as someone who is trying to get at least one copy of every unit it helps a lot

Only been playing for 4 months-ish f2p this is my first GSSR so I wanted some advice. My goal is to get at least 1 AOE and ST SSR for each class. On my account so far I have Oberon, Van Gogh, Castoria, Charlemagne, Muramasa, Melusine, Huyan, Altera, Vlad, Morgan, Jalter, and there’s like an 80% I get Koyanskaya before this gssr. I’m stuck between Extra Quick AoE and Extra Arts AoE For Quick, the only character I don’t really want is Dantes off of vibes, and Douman Caren Skadi are in my top 10 most wanted units, with Skadi probably being the best unit for my account out of the whole gssr at this point. For arts, I’m okay with Moriarty, and honestly don’t really want Spishtar. Kiaras and summer Kama are in my top 10. What should I do? Feel like Quick has better highs for me, but arts is safer since even the worst option for me is like the 2nd best arts farmer in the game.
hmm let me see... in your shoes I would go for Extra Quick. Skadi being in my top 10 and the main support for quick would make me risk the chance of getting someone I don't vibe with (in my case it be Douman and I would have summoned on this GSSR if I had failed to get Skadi during her banner). I'll give you that Arts is likely better when you use logic but I chased Quetzalcoatl across so many GSSR that I got most of the Rider SSR before her. I will never stop hunting for my favs lol maybe not the smartest way to play but it's how I do it.
You forgot to mention that Taira is fully Douman compatible. Taira, Douman, Merlin is one heck of a team that always does some fun stuff, so Taira does not have to be on a back row.
I kinda want to go for Koyan of Light, but there are literally no issues with the AOE berserkers. I either get one i dont have in arjuna, Ibuki or Morgan or i get another NP copy for the other 3. I've thrown like 200 sq at the current oberon banner with not even a single sr from it (lol) so I'm wondering if i should just try to get something to support like,, bride nero? or an aoe servant? mayhaps..
I think I am going to go with Extra ST one. I REALLY Want NP2 Melt, but I also don't mind getting my first Abby, NP3 Jalter, or NP1 Taira. Even Yang would be nice. Just don't give me another stupid Super Bunyan... PLEASE!

So, I pulled on the Oberon banner. Pulled him after 300 saint quartz and 30 tickets, also got another copy for NP 2 Herc, Np 2 Tamamo Cat (Berzerker), Np 1 Hephaistion and NP1 Yan Qing. Now, I am really torn between 3 GSSR banners: Berserker AOE, Extra Support NP and Extra Quick AOE. Kinda want to go for one of the latter, but I don't want another copy of Sherlock or to get NP1 Molay. Anyway, nice video and any advice for the GSSR would be more than appreciated.
I would personally avoid the sherlock banner if you already have because FGO will laser lock in to him as your GSSR because it's the funniest option (they have a mean sense of humor). If I was in your shoes I would go Berserker for the safe pick unless Extra quick AOE had a unit I would risk the chance of getting the 1 unit I really didn't want. For me personally I feel safer risking a new NP 1 over a dupe but others may disagree
Okita Alter is right now just decent thx to big amount of really small buffs that didn't change a lot. She still looks weaker compared to her summer version.
I'm not sure if I should go for extra quick AOE or extra support NP.. I really like douman and I wanna try to get them np3 but I don't mind getting anyone else on the banner at all(expect Caren lol) My second best option for that banner is probably Jaques. I have kinda mixed feelings about Voyager since I like them but I don't think I would use them that much. I also already have Ruler Skadi and I don't like Caren that much 😓 For extra support NP, I would wanna go for van gogh since she's in my top 10 wanted ssrs. Though if i don't get her, i wouldn't mind getting anyone else. my worst option is probably lady avalon or bazett since I don't want lady avalon np2 and i don't want another quick alter ego dps. which banner should i go for?
I feel like if your dislike for Caren is stronger than the idea for NP 2 Lady Avalon/Bazett then go for extra support np. For me personally if there is someone I super hated I would never go on a banner with them on it because I'd know how bad I'd feel getting them even if they are good units. So basically in your shoes I'd lean Van Gogh since she is a top 10 and the worst options are units I don't need vs I have a personal dislike for.
My GSSR and Destiny order Rate has been really horrible. so far I won Merlin (the one I accidently clicked cause to get it over with picking units I didn't know, heck everybody was new at one point). Pulled on Koyanskaya Karma and somebody else, 33% chance gotten Karma.. then pulled on Thanksgiving GSSR.. gotten Abigail Williams.... so lets see this new Year Destiny order beserker 2/6 getting Ibuki Np4 or Rikyu NP3. 1/6 getting Aljuna Altar ( I really don't want him) 2/6 of getting meh but fine I don't mind. so we shall see. if this breaks my paid SQ bad luck streak.

Abigail story wise isn't bad, but I just don't like Child Servants. Van Gogh is one.. drat I am busted but Van Gogh has high heels :P But I was annoyed with Abigail cause of her never changing nature in later Quest and Events. that irritated me, that is it. Some character even in FGO irritates me cause of their story line. So I am happy she is finally growing up in Christmas JP.
I mean, her Christmas version isn't even remotely grown up, though. I personally don't mind child characters usually. My problem with Abby is that both of her 5 star variants have an ascension where she is a child dressing like an animals fanservice character, and that's super gross.
Yeah the start dash was a surprise one that no one expected! As of now we get 1 GSSR during New Years and 2 during anniversary (Destiny summon and a 15 quartz GSSR). These should always happen
honestly have no idea which one to go for, we will probably get destiny order as well since we got that early on last anniversary so i might do that first and then see what gssr works best for me after
Funny thing... got NP2 Skadi on that recent surprise GSSR on my main but got my first Ivan on my alt account. Also for my alt account I'll be going for the AOE Zerker banner because I would really love an NP2 Ibuki and any of them is a win honestly. Might do that for my main too... but Maid Alter has evaded me every single time... and it's a 33.3% chance damnit!!! BTW I "accidentally" ended up with an NP4 summer Abby going after Fujino (who I did get to NP5 YES!) and she kicks ass. Berserkers just absolutely melt in the buster meta with her.
Oh yeah at 33.3% that's your peak chance at Maid Alter! I would kill for odds like that with a unit I've been chasing since forever. You got time to at least think about it before you hard lock in your choice Ayyy a fellow "accidently got multiple summer Abby chasing a 4*"! Yeah I think having multiple copies really helps with her lack of damage that she seems to suffer at lower copies. Would still be very nice to buff her so np 1 has an easier time though.

Raikou got buff on JP and now she can farm, and her damage is actually pretty good, specially if she hits her power mods.

I think I'm going for extra single target offensive. I only have a NP one Abby and the rest are new and I would welcome them, and if I get a NP 2 Abby then I guess I get to use her more.

we'll see how the oberon and koyan banners go, because id really like to get one or both of them, but if either or both of them come home, I really want to roll for another copy of Arc on the gssr. The extra support banner really seems like a you cant lose banner though, only real low roll would be np2 lady avalon if you already have her
Yeah that's a good call. I was planning to use this GSSR as my Summer Skadi backup plan but I pulled her so it changed things for me. Yeah the Extra Support is actually really good for me... so I may just risk the np 2 Avalon for Van Gogh
The banner I'll prob pull on is AoE Caster as I have none of the 3 units that are on it and as someone who is trying to get at least one copy of every unit it helps a lot

Only been playing for 4 months-ish f2p this is my first GSSR so I wanted some advice.
My goal is to get at least 1 AOE and ST SSR for each class.
On my account so far I have
Oberon, Van Gogh, Castoria, Charlemagne, Muramasa, Melusine, Huyan, Altera, Vlad, Morgan, Jalter, and there’s like an 80% I get Koyanskaya before this gssr.
I’m stuck between Extra Quick AoE and Extra Arts AoE
For Quick, the only character I don’t really want is Dantes off of vibes, and Douman Caren Skadi are in my top 10 most wanted units, with Skadi probably being the best unit for my account out of the whole gssr at this point.
For arts, I’m okay with Moriarty, and honestly don’t really want Spishtar. Kiaras and summer Kama are in my top 10.
What should I do? Feel like Quick has better highs for me, but arts is safer since even the worst option for me is like the 2nd best arts farmer in the game.
hmm let me see... in your shoes I would go for Extra Quick. Skadi being in my top 10 and the main support for quick would make me risk the chance of getting someone I don't vibe with (in my case it be Douman and I would have summoned on this GSSR if I had failed to get Skadi during her banner).
I'll give you that Arts is likely better when you use logic but I chased Quetzalcoatl across so many GSSR that I got most of the Rider SSR before her. I will never stop hunting for my favs lol maybe not the smartest way to play but it's how I do it.
@@PurpleWokey Haha, Quick it is then. My brain knows that Arts is better but the 1/6 to get skadi and a 5/6 to get someone I like is too tempting.

You forgot to mention that Taira is fully Douman compatible. Taira, Douman, Merlin is one heck of a team that always does some fun stuff, so Taira does not have to be on a back row.
I'm going for extra arts. I'll either have np2 summer Kama or new servant.
I kinda want to go for Koyan of Light, but there are literally no issues with the AOE berserkers. I either get one i dont have in arjuna, Ibuki or Morgan or i get another NP copy for the other 3. There are no down sides so... i think im going with AoE berserker.

should i be going for a support servant as a new player? the only ssr's i have are bride nero, standard old artoria and nightingale. I've thrown like 200 sq at the current oberon banner with not even a single sr from it (lol) so I'm wondering if i should just try to get something to support like,, bride nero? or an aoe servant? mayhaps..
I think I am going to go with Extra ST one. I REALLY Want NP2 Melt, but I also don't mind getting my first Abby, NP3 Jalter, or NP1 Taira. Even Yang would be nice. Just don't give me another stupid Super Bunyan... PLEASE!
On AOE assassins banner by far the worst one to get will be Semiramis, though shes definitely a Waifu material (Amakusas waifu XD)

Jeanne Archer has been my target for so long, I must pull on that one 😭
So, I pulled on the Oberon banner. Pulled him after 300 saint quartz and 30 tickets, also got another copy for NP 2 Herc, Np 2 Tamamo Cat (Berzerker), Np 1 Hephaistion and NP1 Yan Qing. Now, I am really torn between 3 GSSR banners: Berserker AOE, Extra Support NP and Extra Quick AOE. Kinda want to go for one of the latter, but I don't want another copy of Sherlock or to get NP1 Molay. Anyway, nice video and any advice for the GSSR would be more than appreciated.

I would personally avoid the sherlock banner if you already have because FGO will laser lock in to him as your GSSR because it's the funniest option (they have a mean sense of humor). If I was in your shoes I would go Berserker for the safe pick unless Extra quick AOE had a unit I would risk the chance of getting the 1 unit I really didn't want. For me personally I feel safer risking a new NP 1 over a dupe but others may disagree
I think I I'll try to go for the Beast 3 or Sumer Sakura.
Okita Alter is right now just decent thx to big amount of really small buffs that didn't change a lot. She still looks weaker compared to her summer version.

I really like douman and I wanna try to get them np3 but I don't mind getting anyone else on the banner at all(expect Caren lol) My second best option for that banner is probably Jaques. I have kinda mixed feelings about Voyager since I like them but I don't think I would use them that much. I also already have Ruler Skadi and I don't like Caren that much 😓
For extra support NP, I would wanna go for van gogh since she's in my top 10 wanted ssrs. Though if i don't get her, i wouldn't mind getting anyone else. my worst option is probably lady avalon or bazett since I don't want lady avalon np2 and i don't want another quick alter ego dps.

I feel like if your dislike for Caren is stronger than the idea for NP 2 Lady Avalon/Bazett then go for extra support np. For me personally if there is someone I super hated I would never go on a banner with them on it because I'd know how bad I'd feel getting them even if they are good units.
So basically in your shoes I'd lean Van Gogh since she is a top 10 and the worst options are units I don't need vs I have a personal dislike for.

My GSSR and Destiny order Rate has been really horrible. so far I won Merlin (the one I accidently clicked cause to get it over with picking units I didn't know, heck everybody was new at one point). Pulled on Koyanskaya Karma and somebody else, 33% chance gotten Karma.. then pulled on Thanksgiving GSSR.. gotten Abigail Williams.... so lets see this new Year Destiny order beserker 2/6 getting Ibuki Np4 or Rikyu NP3. 1/6 getting Aljuna Altar ( I really don't want him) 2/6 of getting meh but fine I don't mind. so we shall see. if this breaks my paid SQ bad luck streak.

Abigail story wise isn't bad, but I just don't like Child Servants. Van Gogh is one.. drat I am busted but Van Gogh has high heels :P
But I was annoyed with Abigail cause of her never changing nature in later Quest and Events. that irritated me, that is it. Some character even in FGO irritates me cause of their story line.
So I am happy she is finally growing up in Christmas JP.
I mean, her Christmas version isn't even remotely grown up, though. I personally don't mind child characters usually. My problem with Abby is that both of her 5 star variants have an ascension where she is a child dressing like an animals fanservice character, and that's super gross.

Yeah the start dash was a surprise one that no one expected! As of now we get 1 GSSR during New Years and 2 during anniversary (Destiny summon and a 15 quartz GSSR). These should always happen

JP currently has destiny order as only during anniversary, so unless NA changes that there likely won't be one on New Years.

Funny thing... got NP2 Skadi on that recent surprise GSSR on my main but got my first Ivan on my alt account. Also for my alt account I'll be going for the AOE Zerker banner because I would really love an NP2 Ibuki and any of them is a win honestly. Might do that for my main too... but Maid Alter has evaded me every single time... and it's a 33.3% chance damnit!!! BTW I "accidentally" ended up with an NP4 summer Abby going after Fujino (who I did get to NP5 YES!) and she kicks ass. Berserkers just absolutely melt in the buster meta with her.

Ayyy a fellow "accidently got multiple summer Abby chasing a 4*"! Yeah I think having multiple copies really helps with her lack of damage that she seems to suffer at lower copies. Would still be very nice to buff her so np 1 has an easier time though.
